I loved the head movement and I loved that he tried to come in with different angles. The dumb fatso's conditioning came into play and he lost the plot and quit. He could have beaten Jacobs tonight. I feel bad for Senior.
He was doing okay but he was never beating Jacobs, he quit because his engine was running low and he knew he was going to get punished and then stopped before the final bell, he was already starting to bust up.
I agree. He honestly could have won. He then started whining to the ref as he got tagged more and more. Real disgrace.
For like a round and a half. Then he started eating a steady diet of jabs, and lost heart when he realized his best shot wasn't going to take Jacobs out.
Chavez Jr. looked excellent for 2 rounds, I however don't think it was about stamina. I thought he was in excellent shape physically, but Jr. seems to have a mental issues somewhat like Andrew Golata did. Its a mental block that runs through his brain at the first sign of adversity in the fight, almost like a panic attack. I hope Jr. retires because Sr. certainly doesn't deserve to see his son go to pieces like that in the ring.
I gave him the 1st round which he did look good in and another was up for grabs but Jacobs was breaking him down. He’s a quitter, JCC should tar and feather him.
Jacobs was cutting it way too close for comfort with those lead right hands Chavez was throwing. The ones he did land seemed to get Jacobs attention as well. I could see Chavez catching Jacobs like he caught Martinez in the 12th. In fact I was expecting it to happen eventually.
In those 5 rounds. He had Jacobs running scared and fouling like a b****. Jr came to ****ing fight and was landing bombs on Daniel.
