He’s too inactive, does a lot of posturing. Does t jab to go inside either. So he’s never really imposing his size all that well. Looks decent but just gun shy. I understand it’s range but looking at someone like his dad, Tyson or cotto who use to jab their way inside.
This is absolutely ludicrous. The man who came in known as the more rugged durable and aggressive fighter gets slowly and purposely peppered up then quits is gaining sympathy? I’m utterly shocked by these post...it’s truly unreal. I feel like I’m in a bizzaro realm right now. I was neutral before the fight and now I feel compelled to go to bat for Jacobs. I can’t even explain how appalling the support sounds to me. I think I need to rewatch this fight tomorrow in order to absorb this with a different perspective.
o only 1 or 2 blind die hard mexican fan. No one else in their right mind support him. Chavez has change story multiple times on why he quit. Told corner he broke hand. In interview he is claiming foul to save face.
There needs to be an immediate rematch. Chavez Jr was winning the fight. He looked great in there. Danny Jacobs used to be one of my favorite fighters but IDK anymore, I don't like his new style of fighting. I'd say ever since around the Dervyenchenko fight, he's less aggressive, constantly backing up and almost looks like he's running. His power doesn't seem the same either. Jacobs fight with Canelo was the letdown of the century for me. And tonight he looked exactly the same as in the Canelo fight, pulling his punches and moving backwards. Chavez Jr was definitely the aggressor tonight,he landed some huge shots on Jacobs. I wanted Chavez to win just because he came to fight. Jacobs looked like he came to play patty cake bakers man if the fight hadn't ended because of Jacobs fouls,I thought Chavez couldve won he was throwing with bad intentions and looked strong
The head movement that Roach taught him was working really well, but that type of movement and defense is reserved for only the best conditioned of fighters (like Pac). It just wasn't sustainable. Chavez looked like he was gonna pull off the upset and he even had Jacobs seriously doubting himself when he kept asking his team if he won the rounds. Conditioning gave out followed by heart.
JCC Jr. looked pretty good last night. Despite the missing weight yet again and paying Jacobs to basically make it a catchweight fight, his head movement was in fact good. To me it looked like he lost confidence. And gas tank might have been only on 3/4 or 1/2 coming in
Oh he looked good? Soon as he took a couple of half azz punches he's headed for the exit. Maybe Roach told him the check cleared between rounds. I guess he should have fought Antonio Margarito , maybe he just needs a 40 pound weight advantage .
I wish I could be that "Fatso." The man has a beautiful body, and face and hair. He's gorgeous. All my sisters are like "Oo, oo, oo, when's that Junior comin' on next?" all the time. And one of my brothers.
Too much pot has eroded his sense of reality. He really seems to be lost at times, not knowing what to do. Perhaps he is in a perpetual THC fog where he is not sure if he is a participant or a spectator.
Could you and/or Shadow please point out to me the rounds and time in which Daniel Jacobs commits the fouls that damage Chavez so severely? Thanks in advance.
Could you and/or Pacas please list the rounds and times that Daniel committed the fouls that did such damage to Chavez he was forced to withdraw? Thanks in advance.
