Hearns had his nose broken by Barkley in the rematch in the 2nd or 3rd round and stayed in the fight with blooding coming out of his nose. Although that is Hearns not Chavez Jr. Chavez Jr. was doing ok and he was strong in there. But after this showing I don't think he will get many more shots at the title.

Ward never apologized, and didn't need to.... this is boxing... the good, the bad and the ugly.... you deal with it and overcome....how many boxers have endured many many headbutts and continue to move forward!!

Plenty of fans accuse fighters of quitting. Many fans accused Khan of quitting vs Crawford after receiving a low blow, but he didn't actually quit. His trainer made the decision to stop it, yet he gets accused of quitting. Roberto Duran literally quit vs SRL and he's still considered one of the all time greats.

I'm just trying to figure out what happened but it seemed pretty obvious that Jr was pretty badly injured, blood was pouring out of his nose. Then you have Jr claiming he was fouled and elbowed in the nose which broke his nose, and you have Jacobs apologizing to him repeatedly for fouling. So I'm just reacting to that and trying to understand what happened.
