All Cotto revealed was what a cowardly QUITTER he was. You know its a shame that jealous people that support Ped's cheats & cowards STILL post absolute BS & lies about Antonio Margarito. Tony was a FIGHTER!! He NEVER EVER tried to cheat. Unlike Floyd The IV kid, Canelo the Clenbutrol Kid& Steroid Shane Mosely. These were PROVEN cheaters
Funniest part is , friend or not, if I thought for one minute Antonio had tried to load his gloves, I'd have been calling for his head worse than any of you clowns are. I detest any form of cheating.

Show me the proof... Margo was a cheater... and he paid for it... as well as in the rematch with Cotto ...why the lies:
In late January, the California State Athletic Commission suspended Margarito and his trainer, Javier Capetillo, pending investigation.[25] At the hearing, Margarito claimed he did not know what was in the wraps, while Capetillo admitted to making "a big mistake" by placing the wrong inserts into Margarito's hand wraps. The commission voted unanimously to revoke Margarito and Capetillo's licenses for at least one year. While it found Margarito did not know about the gloves, it took the line that as head of the team, he was responsible for Capetillo's actions.

The commission officially stated that Margarito did not know of the substance in his gloves but as the "captain of his ship" as stated by the same commission, he was responsible for it, thus the upheld suspension.

Since state boxing commissions generally honor suspensions imposed in other states, this action effectively banned Margarito from boxing in the United States.[26]

In November 2009, it emerged that red stains on the hand wraps Margarito used in the Cotto fight were similar to the stains on the inserts seized before the Mosley fight. This has raised suspicions that Margarito's gloves were loaded for that fight and possibly others as well.[27]

 

margarito. people get all emotional about margo, he beat the crap out of some popular fighters and scared a few others, so few judge him free of their feelings. but in his prime, margo was a real handful... he was scary relentless. even too much for martinez at the time.
