Could SRL or Hearns have won all the world titles they won at different weights in this era?

Prime Hearns and Leonard now do they pick up the same amount of titles, match their ages to any current world champs age that might help specify your answer. One thing I know is that Ray would not be the unified 160 champ now if he was in his early 30`s or in his prime, the Hearns that fought Hagler would stand a great chance at 160 though.

I remember thinking back in the day that Hearns could've won a cruiserweight title if the timing and circumstances were appropriate (Holyfield would've taken him out but Czyz, DeLeon, Lampkin...maybe). I remember footage of a WELTERWEIGHT Hearns sparring way past prime Ali and visibly staggering him with a right hand. Hearns had the height and reach to carry 190 (old cruiserweight limit). Even at light-heavyweight he still had a huge upper body and pencil thin legs.

He didn`t have the same speed at light heavy though.

I don`t think Hearns was that great at 175, I feel Canelo would have destroyed Barkley at 175 easily.

So are you implying because you "Think" he destroys Barkley, he would do the same to Hearns?.... Styles make or break fights Mark, Barkley fought with a physicality that Canelo doesn't have the size or strength to fight with.
Besides, their is nothing Canelo has done that should imply to you he would " Destroy " Barkley. But, conversely Hearns destroyed two ATG's of similar stature as Canelo. One of those ATG'S, many years after his ko loss to Hearns well past his prime and many pounds above his best fighting weight went on to beat the very same Barkley you claim Canelo would destroy but in a very tough fight.

He was a step slower at light-heavyweight but he still outboxed speedy Virgil Hill rather easily. I still think a near prime Hearns is faster than most light-heavys or cruisers.

    Hearns, Maybe.

I think SRL has a difficult time at 160 or above.

Hearns would clean house at WW after that dont tell me you think he couldnt do what Canelo did cause that would be crazy. Leonard was smaller but he was so good i dont see why he couldnt do the same although light heavy would be hard.

I don't think so. Barkley was only destroyed by Benn as far as on paper, yet that was the 3 knockdown rule. I always thought if he could have had the rest between rounds he could have come back and countered Benn. Either way, Canelo would have to fight to beat Barkley. who was big.

Both breeze through WW. I think Hearns still has his problems at 160. A strong middle with a chin was his Kryptonite, It's hard to say with Ray because he got Marvin late.. But I would actually think Ray would be a better middle than Hearns if he handled his career differently. Ray too small at 175, (ie the CW with Lalonde). Hearns at 175 would be interesting and dangerous

Leonard was a lot easier to hit at light heavy than Canelo was when he fought Kov.

I feel Hearns was a killer v Hagler and Ray was a bit slower at 160 and relied more on his athleticism than Hearns did at his peak, Tommy was also better at 154.

Barkley would miss most of his shots against Canelo`s high guard and get countered to death, he was far too slow and sluggish v Benn and ws being destroyed despite hurting the evder wild Benn who did not have the defensive prowess or counter punching ability of Canelo.

I think Leonard becomes a champ at welter, super welter, and middle

I think Hearns Becomes a Champ at Welter and Super Welter.
