Spot on. If Wilder wanted to, he could fight a younger guy pre-prime, win then hope that opponent has a legacy. But he won't. He's guarding glass, by hanging back, and swinging vs non defensive, older and slower guys, or vs fat guys. If Ortiz wasn't old for the first fight, he would have won it. That's still Wider's best win. Remind me who Ortiz beat again?
As others have stated Wilder struggles with anyone with an above average jab and has avoided big punchers his entire career. Wilder wont fight anyone outside of Fury 2, maybe Fury 3 or Kownacki for the foreseeable fututre.
What a load of crap. If Wilder decided to fight Dubois after Fury, you jackals would be all over him for avoiding someone else.
Everybody beats wilder until they actually step into the ring with him. Like I said before, British hype jobs are born from opponents like fuji****er. Yet in the gorn fight where gorn actually fought back, Dubois looked extremely vulnerable and open to a wide variety of punches, especially the right. Dubois ain't ready yet, and probably will never be. He'll end up as a other frank bruno, if that. But hey, he can keep on fighting the other two remaining Japanese heavyweights to keep that hope up.

It's hardly a impressive resume.
Dubois has a lot of talent, him and Hrgovic are the 2 best HW prospects out there right now. And I don’t agree with criticism about his oppositon, It’s been just fine for a 22 year old with 14 pro fights. All that being said, he has a lot of flaws. He has a decent jab, but brings his left hand low after throwing a few jabs and leaves himself open for a right hand(which, goes without saying that suicide against Wilder), he telegraphs his right hand before throwing a 1-2 which also leaves himself open for a counter left and he gets drawn into a battle too easily. Dubois has a lot of room to improve, but as things stand right now, Wilder puts him to sleep.
Dubois would beat him easily imo, within 6 rounds. Of course theres always the danger of wilder landing that right hand but boxing wise dubois is levels above him already. His jab is far superior as is his punch variation. Mind you i think most of the top 10 could beat wilder, i dont rate him at all Hes a one trick pony with a freakish right hand but other than that hes feckin useless and has fought Nobody.
As garbage as wilder's resume is, let's not get carried away after a prospect dispatched some scrub no one's heard of. Besides, wilder is more likely to fight the guy Dubois just beat.
One thing is for sure, all Brit heavies carry genuine grade A glass.......Lewis/AJ/Hide/Aforce/Haye are the No1 contenders, then come Whyte /Bruno/Bentt and the current flavor of the month aka Dubois will carry on with that tradition of Tommy glass chinned heavies who cannot take a shot........you could have pulled a few guys out of the audience and they would have dispatched that wanna be Yacuzza impersonater. Honorable mention, Tyson Fluffy Tripple Roider Povetkin keeps getting accolades from the forum village idiots for his "power"but is the definition of a hype job who never ever KO'ed a top talent nevertheless beat one unless you call shot Byrd/Rahman/Price and Fatso Eddie Chambers the cream of the crop........was ko'ed by the stiff Bodybuilder who in his very next fight spit his mouth piece out and quit against a obese non ranked sub who was paid to loose. Not sure why you are bringing up Fury. Fury has had far less fights than wilder and only ever been involved in 2 world title fights. Seems a bit of a poor comparison. Fury hasn't even had as many fights as wilder had before wilder challenged for a world title. Think about it! Still Power was a young undefeated puncher when Fury fought him. He was 12-0 with 9kos Fury was 11-0 Nascimento was a young undefeated puncher when Fury fought him. He was 13-0 with 11kos Fury was 13-0 Chisora was an undefeated decent young puncher. He was 14-0 with 9kos Fury was 14-0 Belshaw was 11-1 with 7kos Fury was 5-0 McDermott was a respectable puncher at 25-5 with 16kos Fury was 7-0 Before that in Fury's 2nd fight he fought 21-3 Zeller who had 20kos Fury was 1-0 Consider that these 6 fights noted above were 6 fights within Fury's first 15 fights and Fury fought McDermott again, which becomes 7 fights in his first 15 fights. Almost half of his first 15 fights You keep getting given these facts, have no answer and then post the same thing again
