Hmm?, probably not! Lol! I'd still take Sanchez and Gomez over him and I think he lost to Marquez, but his win over Barrera was his best around that weight.
Carlos Palomino at 147 - Pac UD Julio Cesar Chavez at 140 - Chavez UD or late stoppage José Luis Ramirez at 135 - Pac UD Vincent Saldivar at 126 - Saldivar close UD Saldavor Sanchez at 126 - Sanchez UD
First time I saw it I scored it 114-113 to Marquez, but ever since I've always had Pacquiao up, or a draw. Close fight.
I always thought that sometimes you can win on the scorecards ,, but lose in essence the fight between 2 men. Foreman vs Alex Stewart was a fight like that. Foreman got the decision due to the knock downs, but Alex swelled George's head up like he'd been in a hornet's nest and was in better shape at the end.
Pac will never get by prime Chavez at 140......ever, lunging in,one dimensional and has the Boxing IQ of a House mouse, cannot miss Pac with a right if you tried plus Chavez has a granite chin, has under rated boxing ability and works over the body brutally......Chavez is superior to Morales /Marquez in almost ANY department and his record speaks for itself yet Pac went life and death with those two Mexican brawlers with a chin and still lost against shot Morales, could not close the show despite multiple knock downs against marquez and got almost put in the morgue by a washed up marquez. Chavez would do a major number on Hatton and Cotto......at 140 it would be murder.
Manny UD Palomino Manny SD Chavez Manny TKO Ramirez Manny TKO 9 Saldivar great fight actually. Manny UD Sanchez
