    A-Side fighters been doing these thing for years..

    Sugar Ray Leonard made the WBC LHW Champion Lalonde come down to 168 so he could fight for the first WBC SMW championship and somehow both belts were on the line.. Made Hagler fight in a bigger ring..

    Oscar made Hopkins fight at a 158 catchweight at 39 years old and made Floyd fight in bigger gloves.. He also tried to cherry pick on Pac by making him come up to 147 but it backfired.

    Cotto only fought at Catchweights at MW.. Pacquiao with his Catchweights.. They all do it when they’re the biggest attraction in the sport

    145 — Cotto was bigger
    144 — JMM demanded the catchweight; was juiced and looked bigger
    150 — Margarito weighed 17 pounds more
    144 — Algieri was bigger

    Still nowhere close to the BS Floyd and Canelo pulled. In no way did Pac ever enjoy a size advantage over his opponents.

    Dude miss me with that I’m a fan of all those guys but you got to call it down the middle.. When they fought Algieri he had never fought at 147..
    Cotto never fought at 147 after coming down to 145 to fight Pac of course he was bigger but it was at a catchweight..

    JMM didn’t demand the CW and he came in super juiced in the 4th fight which they demanded to be 147 because they blamed the bad performance in the 3 fight on being weight drained..

    They made the Marg for the JMW belt at at 150 catchweight when his previous fight was at 154 and Floyd was also outweighed by that amount on multiple occasions..

    Im just telling like it is ALL A-SIDE fighters in the past and present has pulled BS moves similar to Canelo..

    Good observations and I don’t disagree with any of the OP’s comments. All big money fighters do it. Those two took it to higher levels of diva-ness. I liked early May but when he became Diva D-bag Domestic Abuse Money, he lost me. I voted tie. Too close to call.

    Do you research — JMM demanded the catchweight.

    Cotto and Algieri were both bigger than Pac on fight night. Algieri is now talking about going back down to 140. JMM looked bigger than Pac in both III and IV.

    Margarito was 17 pounds heavier.

    In all those fights, Pac gave up a size/weight advantage.

    Pacquiao by far, ped cheater and catch weight king, on top of that loaded his gloves against Margarito .
