Which is why he immediately dropped the 175 belt.

Joyi? He deserves a mention as well. Winning a world title at 36 against a fairly solid fighter in Canoy. He's ancient too for his weight class having first tasted gold all the way back in 2006 and hasn't tasted it in 6-7 years. Looked to be totally done a few years back.

Ring Mag also finalized their FOTY and round of the year nomination lists in early December, so they're fucking morons.

Someone needs to send them an email informing them that the end of December is the end of the year.

    Cinnamon flavoured Kool-Aid anyone?

Seriously man, accept other people don't see your hero as you do and keep it moving. This doesn't need to become another "is Canelo a pampered diva or not" thread so if you want to surprise absolutely noone and say he's your fighter of the year based on his fights in 2019 then go ahead, do it.

It'd be more interesting to know what the last year you didn't Canelo was fighter of the year was than the above tbh.

 Hey man, in fairness they only purport to be The Bible of Boxing, not some kind of highfalutin timekeeping emporium!

Pascal is all wrong for Jack, just like he was all wrong for Browne. He's really benefited from some great matchmaking this year. But hey whatever, if he pulls off the win here, its still solid come back regardless.

    War Pascal.:ggg

If he beats Jack, hopefully he calls it a day, but we all know that ain't happening.

Well he ain't fighting Beterbiev, so I don't know where he'd go after that.

Maybe a JCC jr or Canelo:lol:

A few other fighters aren't fighting Beterbiev either so he's in good company.
