Disgraceful Boxers... who makes this list?

I'd say Tony Anthony who knocked out Mike Weaver with a left hook. The first time due to a punch to the back of the head and in the rematch a punch seconds after the bell that Norris claimed not to hear. Santana won both fights by D.Q. Both times he was carried out in a stretcher and seemed to me to be smiling. Top Honors must also be shared by Abner Mares for his disgraceful performance vs Joseph Abeko where he clearly fouled him at least 15 times because the referee seemed to be looking elsewhere.

 

Might not like a certain boxer but respect them all for climbing into the ring.

 

This is just me but when Mayweather hit Ortiz when he was clearly without defense apologizing, it just did not feel right. Tyson biting Holyfield ear comes to mind. A fighter coming in the ring out of shape is not very good also.

That is in the ring. Now outside the ring, you have plenty of stories not worth asking for: ****, violence, suicide and murder. Boxing is not the cleanest sport also.

Broner is a contender

 

Bit off topic but Ortiz deserved that **** tho. It was poetic justice.
We all know Floyd uses his elbows a lot, and Ortiz was smart to counter with his head(unfortunately it wasn´t the first fight Ortiz employed headbutts), but Ortiz brought that **** to a whole other level.
It´s said that if the opponent fight dirty, then fight dirty back. But don´t do it like Ortiz did.

Get your head out of your ass. Just because Broner is a dumbass, doesn´t mean that he is a disgrace as a boxer.
Dude jumped from lightweight to welterweight. Got his ass handed to him by Maidana but rallied back late while taking a massive beating, showing tremendous resilience.
Never afraid of any challenges and always comes in great shape.

Yeah, he has had mental lapses inside the ring(and nothing but mental lapses outside of it), but he is always game.

I can´t stand Broner at all, but the amount of times I have had to defend him on this forum is just astonishing. Someone just recently called Broner a *****.
POS outside of the ring, but far from a disgrace inside of it.

 

But it doesn´t define his legacy. It´s part of it, unfortunately, but it is not the defining moment.
Just like he is remembered for him quitting vs Leonard, he is also remembered for beating Leonard. He is remembered for getting sparked by Hearns, upsetting Barkley, going the distance with Hagler. His lightweight run.
There is a lot more to Duran than what just stands out to you. You just focus on one aspect, others don´t.

Hard to believe hat the fighter couldn't feel the gloves lacked proper padding. On the other hand, neither did the boxer who was getting hit. Strange!

I agree. His immoral antics in the ring during that fight were a disgrace. Especially his humping gestures and hitting Maidana after the bell.
