When you say "sparred" was that, on your back, getting pounded for £20 an hour

Or in a ring, on your feet, with 16oz gloves on?

Ha ha. That's really funny. It did happen. Not often but it did happen.

Everyone likes Frank Bruno, or they should do. Look at money heavyweights like Haye and Chisora have made. Bruno would have flattened them both.

I would gladly pay some serious dollar to chin test the chin of the wankers on this sight that constantly go on about the lack of chin of numerous professional boxers. These wankers have doubtless never even had a school playground scrap, let alone stepped through the ropes. So utterly ****ing disrespectful, it defies belief to be honest.

Every time these professionals get 'chin checked', they're getting hit by people who have trained almost exclusively in the art of inflicting pain and possible, life threatening injury. It takes a special kind of person to want to get in the ring and trade blows with some of the fittest athletes on the planet and to take the **** out of people that may not have been born with the gift of an iron chin is the same as taking the **** out of someone born with a small dick like said posters.

To get into the ring knowing full well that you're vulnerable to being clipped says a lot for the courage of these people. Hurry up with your pathetic thread so I can verbally **** all over it. Thanks in advance

    Ah, the legendary Noel Quarless.
Knocked out 7 times inside 3 rounds including 4 inside the 1st round, and he could go in with Bruno?!?!
as for good old Henry Cooper he would know all about knockout losses.
Johansson, Bygraves, Foley,Patterson all knocked him out all cruiserweights.
    Bruno would have decimated him.

I wouldn’t say his chin was pretty bad. In 45 fights he was only ever floored by 3 men and all of his stoppage defeats were from an accumulation of punches rather than from a single shot and were all against excellent punchers.

Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis could have knocked a horse out. 2 of the biggest punching heavyweight ever, or did nearly all their opponents just have glass jaws lol. If prime Tyson and Lewis were around now, out the top 3, I would only fancy Fury to have a good chance of seeing final bell.

Does anybody remember Bruno and Gary Mason’s stablemate Horace Notice? I think he had to retire due to eye problems if my memory serves me correct, pretty sure Lawless said he had the most natural ability of the three

Against washed up fighters and nobodies.
    Bruno would have demolished him.
