yeah, that would be cool. They have been going for about 6 months or so. They asked to go but of course whether they keep going remains to be seen. We do a bit at home as well. The are really quite mad for it. We have to watch lots of YouTube clips. They play the old fight night games as well. You will have to remind me as time goes on.

This would have to be one seriously stacked undercard for me to even consider this.

Yeah, they are still very young and it could be a novelty that wears off in weeks, but it is quite unusual for girls and with their ages being so close they can push one another.

If she fights Cecilia Braekhus then maybe they may test the PPV waters with Taylor.

I doubt Hearn would stack the undercard too much as not to risk massive losses.

Clearly a Taylor PPV would take place in Ireland and sell well there- in the UK I doubt many would plonk down £20 to watch the fight.

It’ll be Katie “headlining” with a couple of heavyweight pudding fights to sell tickets / buys.
If you saw AJ’s insta story last night you can see he was watching the Cash Cullen fight then a while later while the Taylor fight was on he was playing Fifa and then a hour later he had the boxing back on when Crolla was fighting. Thought it was pretty telling that even somebody in the business wasn’t interested in women’s boxing.

This is about whether I think Katie Taylor is any good or not.

But at the point where your 100 odd quid a month subscription for Sky doesn't cover seeing Katie Taylor we are struggling.

May as well make every fight they put on behind a further paywall

Imagine being a long-reigning world champion with 10 title defenses or so, being the only boxing world champion of you country and then getting robbed blind by some glorified vegan lesbian.

Needs to rematch Persoon and kindly accept the beating.

Glad my countrywoman beat Taylor in Rio. She started boxing at 28 years old iirc.

If Katie Taylor was boxing in my back garden I’d shut the curtains.

I don’t mind her on PPV shows sometimes though, especially when in the pub. It’s prime opportunity to get a round in and go for a toilet break.

    So........
An update on the girls boxing although I appreciate it been about 8 weeks. More mad for it than ever. The Christmas list included a punch bag!! And reflex bag. On the iPad, classic fights saved, although can’t persuade them to watch turpins fights!! Also had to take out a subscription for boxing news for them. We have had to start listening to pod casts as well. Eldest is sparring lightly and that has fast become her favourite! She was clapped of the ring by a former British champion who asked how many fights she had had, when he found the answer was none, he asked her age, said he didn’t believe either!! One of my most proud moments ever !!!

It will be a bargain at £24.99 as it really cannot be any worse than the recent Saudi stinker in the desert.

Wrong to write off women's boxing as a whole as like the men - there are good/bad, exciting/boring and the female referee in Monte Carlo had many Black & Deckers twitching.

Katie Taylor is good to watch along with Chantelle Cameron but I found Nicola Adams and Natasha Jonas boring until the latter was KOd by a female pudding.

Taylor v Persoon PPV or Joshua v Ruiz 2 - I would certainly prefer watching the ladies while recognising some may be attracted to the larger breasts on display in Saudi.
