He also fought at 155 a couple times for the middleweight belt.
He fought at 164, Chavez jr. or not he fought at 164.

It's a little disingenuous to say Canelo was moving up in weight when he was actually moving down in weight from 164 to 160 to fight GGG.

Yeah. Can anyone imagine Canelo beating a small HW albeit unskilled one? Because the weight difference between Hunter and Ustinov was the same as would be between 160 lbs Canelo and HW who weighs in at 209 lbs. That's a proportional difference - Ustinov had 30.56% of weight over Hunter. And if we took into consideration Clenelo's REAL fight night weight (180 lbs), he would have to beat a HW who weighs in at 235 lbs to replicate what Hunter did to Ustinov.

I think Canelo could beat a small, crappy heavyweight.

Canelo is far more accomplished, 4 weight world champion by the age of 29, Usyk is 32 now and is a 1 weight world champ and probably won't even become 2 weight world champ, but don't come back to diss me if he does because he may very well become heavyweight champion

He wouldn`t land many leads though, he`d do what he did v Jacobs and Kov, cover up and wait to counter, Uysk lands more leads and would batter Canelo with ease in sparring matches.

It`s more of a gap to fight at heavyweight because of the size and power difference, Canelo will never face a power puncher P4P like Wilder, heavyweight bouts can finish in the blink of an eye, it`s hard to compare fighters from lower weights for this reason.

Deleted my post because I was about to say the same thing, although not as well as you. I would add, Usyk beat the best in his division in their own backyards, without any of Canelo’s diva BS. He also never insisted on catchweights or hydration clauses. Canelo needs an edge in every fight, corrupt judges, PEDs, illegal hand wraps, etc.

Usyk is about as far from a diva as it gets. Canelo...not so much.

He isn't or he shouldn't be, and I like Usyk more than Canelo. Alvarez should stand at #1 p4p alone based on resume.

Ustk has a far better resume than Steriod boy.
He beat all there was to beat at CW and has moved up 20+ lbs to compete at HW. Won in opponents back yards.

Clenelo is a drug cheat who has lost several bouts but given the nod due to Vegas corruption. Never fought in opponents back yard.

    Not even close.
