After being shot in the stomach and undergoing a double hip replacement, Charr made an astounding comeback to become the first Arab heavyweight world champion, a feat that doesn't get anywhere near enough credit, although perhaps tainted by later failed drug test(s). What level fighter do you consider Charr and will he still be a factor in the division as he enters his third calendar year of inactivity???

Yes, still active & WBA Regular titlist which makes him an official champ (has also officially changed name to Mahmoud). Based on what you've seen from him so far, would you class him as B or C level?

Well, if guys like Rahman and Brewster were labelled as B level, then Charr is D level, especially current version

Any time he's faced above C level fighters he's failed miserably. Earned totally bogus WBA title by going life and death with the painfully slow Ustinov. He's actually much worse than his record would indicate. C minus.

I'll give Charr the benefit of the doubt and rank him fairly due to his previous accomplishments...

    C. When he was in shape and not being a dick he wasn't a bad fighter

Didn’t do too badly against klitschko until he was stopped

the stoppages against Povetkin and briedis are quite funny to watch

I thought he was retired? Chisora beats him right now

Would struggle to be in British top 10 for his weight class.

In no particular order he gets beaten easily by Fury, Joshua, Dubois, Joyce, Chisora, Whyte and Hughie. Prob loses to Price and Gorman. Hell, even Dave Allen has a shot at beating the current version of him.
