Given that I am overwhelmed Holyfield's super-jaw would hold out for the whole match ( like Holmes vs Shavers) I'd like to know from someone at what round Holyfield would knock Wilder out considering Wilders defence has remained more or less the same of the fight with Romanov imo

Holyfield's absolute peak was between 89-92 imo, I reckon that the Holyfield who fought Foreman would box Wilder looking for an opening and would pounce when he got it. Which he would.

Holyfield KOs him in no more than 6.

I think Holyfield’s prime (at Heavyweight) is one of the harder ones to work out. I almost put his prime into a couple of different stretches of a handful of fights. I feel he peaked real good between Tyson and Moorer II.

Oh and he’d destroy Wilder. Wilder would cry.

Wilder would look clueless as long as the fight lasted against a well schooled fighter & would probably hit the deck mid to late.

Holyfield will rattle Wilder and soak up any bombs landed. By the tenth round Wilder s floundering and getting tagged regularly. Holyfield almost stops him in the last couple of rounds but DW hold s on to lose a decision.

Evander would box his ears off and stop him sometime in the second half of the fight

Wilder looks very impressive with his power but Evander held up to head shots pretty well - as of NOW Wilder has not fought anyone that can bring the pressure Evander could bring - so I would have to go with EH- Lets see how the chips fall in future matches at the higher levels. I thought Fury won the first fight and lets see how Wilder holds up to the cream rising to the top of the division right now before we can properly ascertain judgement

Deontay might not be able to land flush. If he does, it's a knockdown...but he ain't stopping Evander.

Evander's darting style completely befoozles Wilder, and Holy even rocks him a couple of times with the left hook on his way to a Unanimous Decision, with judges giving Deontay only two or three rounds average out of 12.

Holyfield was a warrior who took the bombs of Lewis, Tyson, Mercer, Moorer and even Bowe bar what he was sick with the third time .. he primed against Douglas .. of course I favor him over Deontay buy Deontay is a freak who has the punchers chance against anyone because he not only has freakish power but has heart and is a bad man in the ring ..

Cool post! And I mostly agree...except even if Deontay lands flush, does anyone believe Holy ain't getting back up and into the fight?

35 % chance Holy outpoints Wilder
    40 % chance Holy KO's Wilder

5 % chance Wilder outpoints Holy.
20 % chance Wilder KOs Holy

I think that’s a fair assessment. Holyfield now, but let’s see what Wilder does in the next 2, 3 year to see if he can change our minds.
