Joe Frazier beats Johnson every round while Johnson tries to clinch and avoid Frazier the best hs can until he gets caught, rocked and dropped mid rounds

Johnson is the greater fighter, with the better resume.

Frazier would have won head to head, for stylistic reasons.

Frazier was a much better fighter and prime vs prime he would destroy "The Galvaston Giant" Who would be only an inch or two taller than Frazier and would weigh roughly about the same. Boxing and boxers had progressed significantly between Frazier and Johnson's era's.

Agreed. Can’t see Frazier ko’d by a super middle, out boxed by another, and floored dazed by a third super middle.

Matching Frazier vs. sub 175 pound men would be like throwing a fluffy white kitten over a fence into a mean junk yard dog’s domain.

Frazier is the better fighter and would win head to head.

I call BS on this... at least as far as heavyweight resume.

Please to list me Johnson's top 5 heavyweight pelts.

Frazier would make this a war of attrition , I think Jack would do a lot of good things and Frazier would get wounded but in the end I'll go with Joe

Another way to look at the question, would be to ask what Frazier's best twenty were!

I think that Ron Stander would fit in comfortably in Jack's top 20.

Johnson was beating contenders regularly from 1902 to 1915 or thereabouts.

I think it is far to say that he has got it sewn up on depth and longevity here!

Oh, some novice fighters, a light-middleweight, some lightheavies and an old alfalfa farmer.
