Alot of people get caught up in this story of the fight thing, including professional boxers.People were very impressed with how Canelo came after GGG in the 2nd fight as I was,but at the same time a new story was being written, Golovkin fighting off the back foot very effectively, continually jolting Canelo's head back with powerful jabs and uppercuts and manning up and winning the championship rounds to pull off the victory.Going into the decision announcement I was much more comfortable than in the first bout "that I thought GGG won clearly" thinking the judges were going to be fair this time,do to the controversy over the first fight.I was wrong, there was to be one predetermined winner before this series started, and it was Canelo all along. What was I thinking?

Canelo will probably go down as the better fighter, though. He's won titles at JMW, MW, SMW, and LHW.

All 3 judges disagree with you. You can certainly make an argument that GGG won, but Canelo landed the better harder punches, landed more body shots, was the ring general, clowned GGG off the ropes, befuddled GGG, made him miss, slipped a ton of punches. He deserved victory imho. If you want to argue GGG won, that's fine, I respect that, but it's certainly debatable. It was a close match for sure.

I can almost guarantee that most people thinking GGG beat Canelo both times have never heard of or do not understand what the four scoring factors in pro boxing are.

At the end of the fight, Canelo had landed more power punches, more body punches, and Golovkin's face was a mess. Also, Canelo demonstrated better defense, and brought the fight to Golovkin at the same time.

How exactly am I crying? Imo i thought Canelo gassed just enough for GGG to earn a draw in fight I and saw him get totally dominated in fight II, the second fight was entertaining enough that a trilogy wouldn't be a bad look but considering GGG got his rematch and crapped the pot he needs to fight somebody notable seeing as he never fights anybody good he has to settle for the draw and getting his ass whooped in the rematch

IS one of them affective running while looking gassed? If that's so then that might explain the extra educated small percentage of people who think Canelo won the first fight.

    No it's not.

    Clean Punching
    Defense
    Effective agression
    Ring generalship
