Why is cruiserweight a stepping stone division, when it was and still is arguably one of the most stacked divisions in boxing?
You are the definition of cringe. There has prob never been anything you wouldn't say Canelo is the best at. Now, let me say this again and see if it penetrates that smitten brain of yours: THE P4P RANKING SYSTEM IS TO DETERMINE WHO THE BEST WOULD BE IF ALL THINGS WERE EQUAL. THIS IS SOMETHING 'MR A-SIDE' CANELO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT' Now going against the grain and taking on top ranked and versatile set of fighters in their back yard and adopting different tactics in each to get the W - not to mention being an amateur legend - means little to you because your answer is 'Canelo wins' no matter what the question is.
Don't expect an answer here as any stupid response could be no doubt applied to any other division in boxing further certifying Pete's dumbassery. He's really on a roll tonight.
I've probably mentioned this already, but Usyk's skills reside in his ability to adapt throughout the course of a fight. He often looks a bit ragged and sloppy, even when things are going his way, but no one at the upper end of the scale can read and react quite as well as he can. You could literally drop him in against any fighter in the world and he'd be able to find a way to win. That's crazy.
Is that richmondpete, the guy with the M. Bison/Balrog avatar from Street Fighter II? I completely forgot he still posted on here.
The funniest part of that is that I didn't write anything controversial. Davis and Broner have definitely tried to copy Mayweather without having the same level of dedication to the sport as he did. Mayweather was an actor. He pretended it was all making it rain and partying 24/7 when the reality was he was in the gym working his ass off. Whether you like Floyd or not, he was a dedicated gym rat who took his career inside the ring very, very seriously.
Yes Canelo is a protected hype job. Usyk won his fights on convincing fashion with out the help of the judges
If both fighters where the same weight with all their different intangibles thrown in Usyk beats Canelo. Resume wise Canelo has the better resume.
Yep, and has been for years, not only is/was it loaded with talent(some have moved up) but its the best talent the division has ever seen EVER!!!! Usyk, Breidis, Gassiev, Hunter too, and all fighting each other at the drop of a hat, that's why I respect Hunter, hes very "unamerican like", hes more of the mindset of an Eastern European imo, he don't want protection just wants to fight the best every time no drama's
No favours, just a straight forward mop up..He's no1 p4p Usyk imo, not Crawford, Inoue, Canelo or even Loma(no2 imo), the level of his comp in an extremely hard division separates him from the pack
