How many are in the HOF and how many of Fraziers are?
Yeah Johnson never beat a good fighter. They were all tiny guys , 5'7" and under 150lbs .

There is no Tyson on Larry Holmes's resume.

Does that mean that James Douglas was greater?

There is no Joe Louis on his resume either.

Does that mean that Max Schmeling was greater?

Being a great heavyweight comes down to body of work, and one great win absolutely doesn't trump a career!

Never said he never beat a good fighter. Not sure exactly how many good heavyweights he beat, tho. Not sure if any of them would make a mark in Frazier's era (since this is head to head).

Or Jimmy Ellis, Buster Mathis, Oscar Bonevea, George Chavalo, or Jerry Quarry for that matter. All probably better than anyone Johnson faced.

Better than Marvin Hart and Tommy Burns? Better than a 156 pound Sam Langford? A drained, shell of Jim Jeffries?

    Perish the thought.

Lol. I'm kinda positive they were, but sometimes the obvious don't count with some.

I usually agree with you. But in this case I respectfully disagree. Of course one great win doesn't make a career. But Frazier faced a handful of fighters that trump anything Johnson defeated. Ali was just the cherry on top. I can see some of Frazier's victories beating the vast majority of anyone Johnson faced, possibly Johnson himself if he fought in the style of his era. But I don't see any of Johnson's 5'7" 168 pd opponents beating ANY of Frazier's opponents it was just a different era, boxing had progressed. Hell, they wouldn't have allowed any fighter in the ring with Frazier weighing that weight in a professionally sanctioned fight. Maybe sparring if Frazier was trying to work on cutting the ring off, but other than that. No. Johnson was great for his era, but boxing made a hugh leap in technique and training around the 30's until the mid 2000's. Johnson would have a greater chance against Wilder than Frazier in my opinion ..

Jack Johnson is certainly the greater heavyweight. The greater champion. Joe was great as well but he didn't stay at the top or peak form as long. His style didnt allow it.
Head to Head? Joe Frazier's style may give him the edge but I refuse to write off Jack Johnson. He was special. He may have some answers for that. The great ones usually do.

Fighters in Johnson`s day weren`t as good or as big as figters in Frazier`s day on average, those contenders Johnson fought wouldn`t have been contenders while Frazier was champ era for era.
