Exactly as they were when Patterson fought them. Spinks vs

    Archie Moore
    Tommy Jackson
    Pete Rademacher
    Roy Harris
    Brian London
    Ingemar Johhannson
    Tom McNeely
    George Chuvalo
    Henry Cooper
    Jimmy Ellis
    Oscar Bonavena

Now I left out a few names, but these are all opponents that Patterson beat. Could Michael Spinks make it through this gauntlet undefeated, would he be defeated and avenge himself in a rematch or would he just not be able to beat all of them?

I suspect that he would have slipped up at some point!

Who do you think he'd have lost to? I think he'd make it past Johhannson TBH and the version of Moore that Patterson beat, especially if it's a bulked up Spinks.

Why? He didn't in his actual career.

Chuvalo and Bonavena are his toughest fights due to size, but I think Spinks beats them on points.

He beats the rest, and if it's a prime LHW Spinks fighting a lbs or so above 175, he'd stop most as well.

No, but he had very few fights at heavyweight.

Patterson fought a lot of good heavyweights, over a very long period of time!

It is not so much a matter of one person being favorite over him, as a likelihood of beating a given three or four in combination.

Moore, Johansen, and Ellis, many years apart, would be a difficult ask!

Could he not come in as him prime self and weigh a pound or two more than his normal fight weight?

We are talking about fights that happened over a 16 year period here!

If he can come in as his prime self over that period, then I want some of whatever he is on!

Cooper would pressure Spinks the same way he did Ali, Spinks wasn`t as evasive as Ali so it would be a case of who lands a good shot first and Cooper`s hook was very quick it`s just that he didn`t set that punch up that well, he couldn`t use angles or anything which could have cost him.

Chuvalo would score against Spinks as much as he did v Ali in their first bout, Chuvalo was a tough fight for Ali and Spinks wouldn`t throw or land as much as Ali did.

Patterson seemed to age extremely well, especially for that time frame. He was 37 and only lost to Ali and was still a top level fighter and didn't look washed up at all. In fact, some would say that Patterson at an older age was better than his younger self.

I think Spinks had enough in his right hand jinks to put Cooper down.
