Bad luck for Badou... (again)

hard to call it a robbery when Pascal won the first 5 clearly and scored a knockdown. if it wasnt for the 12th round knockdown it would have been wider for pascal

Now that most title fights are on ppv or an app it should be the standard again

 

It looks like i got it all wrong with this one, but I had Jack winning big. I was stunned by the decision and even more when I came here and saw the cards. I don't know **** about boxing.

 

Whatever your view of the scoring, Badou not showing up till at least mid fight on regular basis then losing as result seems like he isn't or refuses to learn from past experience, as Einstein once said "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result" (not suggesting Badou is insane by the way).

 

maybe Jack shouldn't rely on luck to win a fight? U honestly think he did enough to take the belt from the champ? losing 6+ rounds, plus being knocked down... nah, thats not impressive in the judges eyes. gotta do more than that do take the belt from a champ.

 

My favorite part was when his ******ed bald buddy after the fight ran up to Jack and started screaming "Allahu Akbar!!" then he said "that was a hell of a fight!!" hahah yeah it was, for Pascal.

Oh, we are back to "champions" having a handicap?
Having a belt doesn´t mean that the opponent now must do more to win the fight. It´s not what the saying is even about.
It´s about going out there and giving it you all to make sure you win. Or something like that.

But regardless, it was a close fight. One that could have gone Badou´s way. He did the cleaner work, that is when he did work.
So yes, Badou is unlucky. He has had many close fights and hardly any go his way.
It is what it is.

And no, Jack didn´t clearly loose 6+ rounds. The **** were you watching?

 

Man, I saw it way differently. I thought many of the rounds were ridiculously close.

 

this fight definitely raised Kovalev's stock a bit.

 

I thought Jack nicked that fight too. Feel bad for the dude but he is humble in defeat and I hope he comes again. He always starts slow, he needs to work on that.

No such thing as bad luck in Badoos case, he’s simply unable to muster enough will to win.
Skills are there but dude keeps on getting D’s and L’s just because he isn’t active enough, you’d think he’d learn the lesson by now.
