If only there was some way for lardo to show us he was taking his career seriously before we bother watching him fight again...

For some reason...if the boxer doesn't look chiseled... they are discarded... this guy has grit and power enough to KO a big HW..,

He's still young enough and has quite a bit of experience at this point.
look, i'm not piling on the guy....he fought the same way he always does.
He wasnt the difference in the two fights, AJ was. AJ crumbled in the first fight but fought more disciplined the second time around.

I think he would be an excellent match up to guage where Usyk really is at HW

He gave up on himself first.

I eagerly await his comeback at 40+.

If a guy can't get motivated for his biggest fight, then there's nothing that can motivate him. He's still a good fighter, but he's not getting a whole lot better. He's lazy.

I'll meet you half way on that Oakland. AJ definitely faught a smarter and more disciplined fight. Props to him for doing that. But...Ruiz did not help his chances coming into the fight the way he did.

I don't think Ruiz was spending much time in the gym. He did not look sharp. It goes beyond him coming in heavier.

I understand AJ faught in a way to negate Ruiz strength but Ruiz looked horrible plodding around the ring following AJ around.

First of all, Andy HIMSELF should give up on Snickers, Burritos Nachos and all those partying and fiestas...

he gets any fatter he'll walk in looking like a piƱata. Damn his skill, I'll wager against him in hopes of seeing his foe beat the candy out his fat ass.
