I have a friend who follows fury wherever he goes to box. He kept asking me if I thought the fight was going to happen as he had his doubts but wanted to know what I thought,as I keep more updated on the boxing world and what's going on usually more than he does himself. When the fight was confirmed last week I let him know that. He must of waited till the next day cos that's when he got back to me, he said all the tickets have been snapped up and they're going for ridiculous money now. He'll probably miss this one now, unless he can get his hands on some tickets that arent inflated.
Anyone willing to pay that kind of wonga to watch fury must be hardcore fanboys or off their rockers.Respect.
There were people saying on here not long ago there'd be possible chances of complimentary tickets if staying in MGM resorts.. Was there no truth in that? I guess it's a case of how ticket sales go. But saying that, the way ppl go on there's always tickets being given away at every event to fill seats in arenas.... Gawd knows Lol
The casino will have a **** load of tickets to give away. However to be in with a chance of being given these you need to either stay in the most expensive suites or gamble (lose) a load of money. It would work out way cheaper to buy off the secondary market.
Pretty pleased with how I've booked so far. Flights to Vegas: £400 Fight Ticket: £420 ish (Lower - Section 5) > these tickets are now reselling for £1,200+. Will now wait until a couple of days before my flight to book a hotel room. February is out of season for Vegas and you can grab really good deals closer to the date. Hotels get very desperate! Looking at a total cost of around £1,500 / £1,700 (depending on my spending).
There are always, always, always complementary tickets in Vegas. This is the thing about the place. It’s not like going to Monaco where pretty much everything is expensive. It’s not like going to Blackpool where pretty much everything is cheap. It’s the sort of place where billionaires who actually do live in Monaco and people who enjoy cheap breaks in Blackpool can all go and all have a good time at the budget which suits them. You can eat in restaurants where your meal will cost the thick end of a thousand dollars, or you can eat for a few dollars in a burger bar. You can drink scotch at half a grand a pop, or drink for free (bar tips) playing cheap slots. And when it comes to slots, you can spin for a thousand or spin for ten cents. Point being that if you’re turning up to a casino with the intention of steaming into the action at a a grand a hand, and you want tickets for the fight, you’ll have a good chance of getting them. But you need to be spending. You won’t get a ticket or even a deal on a ticket purely by staying at the venue. Only chance of that will be if they’re literally unable to sell them at all at face value.
Making me regret pulling out Main concern was I need accessible tickets and can’t see me picking those up off a tout...
Haha. That’s not my intention. You’d have a good time in Vegas regardless - it’s a genuinely fun place and I sort of have a mild mistrust of any adult who goes and doesn’t have a good time. You can be into just about anything and enjoy it. It’s like an adventure playground for adults basically. I’d never live there mind you. The weather for one thing is brutal.
They are called complimentary but infact the cost is added to the hotel rate. You are given a 'free' ticket to a show of your choice.
Tickets still going strong it seems. Hoping those StubHub prices drop dramatically come next week. Wi
Apparently a lot of British fans are travelling to Vegas without tickets, so the prices might not drop as much. Will be interesting to see...
I sold mine for face value in the end. I had tried to make a small profit to recoup what I’d lost on the trip itself due to a family bereavement but there was so many still available on AXS it was impossible.
I always sell my tickets at face value if I can't go. Hate people who rip fans off. Hope you're ok though
