His bicep looks huge compared to Ali`s who`s biceps were only 15 inches for his bout v Liston same size as Tommy Hearns biceps v Kinchen at 168 during the 80`s.

Ali landed crisp right hands on Foreman that were as hard as the punch Moore floored Rock with.

From what I've read, Marciano unleashed a brutal all-out assault on Simmons (including some low blows) but couldn't knock him down. Not sure the fight says all that much about Marciano's power.

Rocky was 5'10 while Liston was 6ft, though Marciano was far slimmer than this during his career and his reach was only 68 inches while Liston`s was longer than Wilder`s at 84 inches.

Marciano was more a wear down heavyfisted sort of fighter aside from his KO`s v Walcot, I don`t think he scored as many one punch KO`s as Liston did.

How many 1 punch KO's did Liston have? Marciano has 2 on film, against Layne and Walcott, and close to another against Matthews

    Another dumb comment!
Mac Foster punched harder than Williams!1Martin also and he even killed a man and knocked Liston few times in sparing because Martin was Liston ex sparing partner!

I don`t know but he finished Williams with one shot and even Pterson got back up in his bouts v Sonny he was finished by a single hook each time, he was never going to recover.

From the syndicated article: “Marciano Beats Simmons by TKO in Heavyweight Bout,” Jan. 30, 1951

Simmons took a terrific beating for nearly four rounds but he never was knocked off his feet.”

“From that point [in the fourth round] Marciano, who weighed 192 ½, hit Simmons at will with overhands, uppercuts and short, hard jabs. Before the fifth round finished Marciano had closed Simmons left eye.

Simmons was groggy and reeling in the sixth and seventh rounds, but the Brockton, Mass., fighter was unable to put him down though he had no trouble landing punches.

From another article: "Marciano had to go all out to defeat his rugged foe, who absorbed Rocky's best punches without going down."

For reference, Mike Fisher (4-6) and Sonny Parisi (4-0) had each been able to stop Keene Simmons several rounds faster than Marciano did.
