I didn’t add Golovkin fights to that list due to his age, how long he avoided him and fights being in Vegas.
    Although I see your point.

He doesnt make me cry but he made me have no respect for him. Oscar has made him a very rich young man with his shennanikins, friendly judges, Ped's abuse cherry pickin' etc but one day he'll realise its totally destroyed his legacy. But he's made Vegas & the NSAC very rich too

IMHO Kirkland is not elite. He's B+ fighter at most. An elite fighter is an A, A+.

Spoken like a true nut hugger that you are.
Or do you actually think anyone cares about him as much as you do to actually cry

I wouldn’t consider trout, Khan, Jacobs, Lara, fielding and Chavez elite. They’re solid. Were they ever p4p top 10 or even top 20? More comparable to a porter or Danny Garcia.

GGG and Floyd was elite. Cotto wasn’t a MW and kovalev was shot.

He has a very solid resume, top 10 p4p, probably top 5, nowhere near 1 imo for lack of dominance over B/A level opponents.

Hard to dispute he has a better resume than most. He went 1-1 with GGG in my eyes. Clearly he is now looking to stack the odds on each fight in his favour with clauses etc which is alienating him from fans and p*ssing me off too.

World class fighter who doesn't need to resort to cheap tricks to beat fighters but does anyway.

Well, I didn't include Kirkland in my assessment since he didn't show up in the annual rankings. He would be one of the scrubs I mentioned. What I said was that aside from 2012 and 2016 Canelo fought a champion or top contender every year. He fought twice a year and fought elite fighters roughly half of the time. He would fight a well regarded boxer one fight and then fight a walk over bum the next. Kirkland would fall into that lower category. So you could say that half of Canelo's opponents are tomato cans or you can say that half of Canelo's opponents are elite and you would be right both times.

I wouldn't say every fight but most fights, people hate on Nelo because he was supposed to get destroyed time again and yet he doesn't and they can't stand it plus he fought Maywesther so the more he does the more they hate. People hype up a guy like GGG who LOST to Canelo and pretty much his whole resume is Kirkland level. Canelo has maybe the best resume of this generation of fighters to say anything else is just being disingenuous.
