    Carnelo fans say GGG was prime and that age didn't mean a thing.

    At 36 Canelo will be on so much gas that boxing will need to create a new weight class for him only -- SHW.

    And in the main event, Canelo Alvarez vs. thin air(w/ rehydration clause)

    Canelo started his pro career at 15 and has been fighting top quality opposition since he was 22. Also, because Canelo has been fighting higher quality opponents than Golovkin he has twice as many rounds fought.

    Golovkin started his pro career almost in his mid 20s. He has had a relatively easy career up until the Jacobs fight three years ago. Has fought half the rounds Canelo has.

    Canelo will be past his prime before he hits 35.

    With modern science and all of the high-tech meats Canelo ingests (from Mexico), he will stay strong and prime, well into his 40s. He’s being treated with the best chemistry known to man and should continue to build muscle and, as long as the testers continue to turn a blind eye, stay strong for a long time.

    I don’t like these types of threads. What if an old Sugar Ray fought a young Hagler, what if young Joe LOUIS fought an old Marciano, etc. It’s just a way to take a shot at a young guy beating up older faded fighters. One thing is for certain, Father Time is undefeated.

    Hope everyone has a healthy and happy NY celebration and a great 2020. 2019 was a surprisingly good year for fight fans. I hope 2020 is as good.

    Well a prime PED failed Canelo (if you truly believe he won) just scraped by a 37yo so history would tell us that this theoretical version of Canelo loses badly to a young “prime” GGG with or without his tainted Mexican WBC approved beef.
