Would quite like to see Brook vs Smith. Smith is seriously overated on here imo. Brook has been thrown to the dogs on here also, although we won't really know how done he is until his next fight if he gets some rounds in. He looked the worse he ever has in his only fight away from Ingle, so I'm not sure he's as gone as some people think.
this de-luca guy people on the US boxing chat, say is VERY good. Better than his record in his earlier days sparred all kinds of WCs from 154-160. A real banana skin fight this. It could be a ugly points win, but the word is this guy can bang and is good much better than zerafa.
What weight is this fight at ? And has Brook stated what weight he intends to fight at in the future ? there is two easy fights to make at 147 the winner of Vargas v Garcia , and at 154 Liam Smith. I think the Smith fight is a great fight to make , Brook in his prime I think would be to skilled for Smith but now I’m not to sure. I think Brook would want to much money for that fight and would be a hard one for Eddie to sell as a PPV maybe as a double header? Brook has had to many inactive spells in his career it’s a shame he could of gone down as one of our best I believe.

I agree but people looking back on his career will not remember a significant difference. The same with Ricky Burns - gave us some great nights and would have went down as one of the top Scottish fighters if he retired before the Crawford fight when he was already virtually finished with the broken jaw. Sadly people remember more all those Burns defeats particularly the tame losses to Indongo and Crolla. Nigel Benn was in a different league to those mentioned and some people still consider him non elite because of the Eubanks and Collins fights.
Brook's win over Porter proved he had elite talent ( I had Porter edging the fight against Spence). Had brook's eye socket not been broken by GGG I think he would have beaten Spence. I think Brook should have one more throw of dice and dare to be great by taking on Williams or Charlo. If not just clean up domestically with Khan and Liam Williams.
I don't think he is overated on here actually, just well liked. Don't think many if anyone on here would claim Beefy is above fringe world level. Just an entertaining fighter. Smith vs Brook could be a decent scrap as they are probaby at a similar level now. I'd watch it.
