Okay fellas this is a silly thread but I'll partake Floyd was slightly taller then Tyson in photos I have Tyson was in his words a "A pathetic 5ft10" so 5ft10.5 is my guess or he stands at "A pathetic 5ft10" also.

Floyd was quite a heavy lean man for his height his frame was not very large see he had a small head an average shoulder width just in gernal a small bone structure aside from his fists.

Joe Frazier and George foreman in their rematch fought at similar weights but George looks as if he's in a different weight class to Smokin Joe, Frazier had a similar disparity standing next to Ali.

It's almost impossible to determine anybody's real height in a world where almost everyone is lying about their own. I've heard both Tyson and Marciano to be anything from 5'9 to 5'11 3/4 lol

Patterson was measured at the 1952 Olympics at 6 feet even.

Even Celebheights isn't always accurate - they have Joe Calzaghe listed at 6' :dunno.

...Just wondering, after he lost the title did Patterson ever seriously consider dropping down to light-heavyweight?

One thing to remember is that Patterson had a bad back - bad enough to give out in fights and require stretching and other precautions between rounds. When strained it could cause a man to stand 1-2 inches shorter than he normally would
