The biggest fight Warren can make for Dubois is the Joyce fight, which is now likely for April.. Warren can't afford other big names, since a lot of fighters have already rejected his offers due to being lowballed... If Dubois signs for Hearn, he can be right in the mix with Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Povetkin, Hunter, Bakole, ... The list goes on and on.. Warren made him fight two jokers after Gorman and that did absolutely nothing for him.. Thoughts?
Frank is a dinosaur, his idea of promotion is to slag off Eddie Hearn as nothing else gets him in the media.
Should be happen quickly. Warren also pretends that he is still Fury's promoter while in reality Arum is the boss.
Well, he can get the Joyce fight, which isnt a gimme fight. If he can beat Joyce, there isnt a tonne of fights for him in Warrens stable, although Warren does have a good relationship with TR.
I can see this happening. Frank might try to get him on the Fury v Wilder card maybe against a Wilder victim and try telling him he's in the big picture. As has been pointed out however, Fast Eddie has the rest of cards in the Heavyweight pack. If Dubois wants to get in the mix he will simply have to make the move.
One thing you have to give Frank Warren and admit is that he is a survivor. Anyone who promotes the game and the good of boxing I respect.
Warren really has to get a move on with Dubois because on his current trajectory he will be fighting at English area levels again.
He's taken much more from boxing than he's put in. Just ask any of the fighters who have had to drag him to court to get their money only for him to phone in yet another 'bankruptcy'.
I would rather not go into specifics I am not Party to privy to. I am just making a general point about appreciating all those who promote the great sport we love that includes publicists, trainers, manager, fighters, promoters, journalists etc.
