Would you say the majority of boxing training videos on YouTube are taught incorrectly?

After visiting a gym, I’ve noticed a lot that was different from the techniques learned on YouTube and strategies. For example, I read everywhere that your feet should be angled at 45 degrees away from your opponent. After joining a gym, I was taught to simply get my feet a little wider than shoulder width, step forward with my left and that’s it. Turning out also felt weird. I taught myself boxing at first from online videos and tips, but after joining a gym and getting an inside my skills have improved dramatically

I wouldn't say taught incorrectly. I had the opposite result. When I was in the gym coaches would tell me do things a certain way which I would but then when I started learning from Youtube constantly my technique improved. I guess it really depends on the person.
