Dubois knocks him out in. Will be an entertaining fight whilst it lasted.

Funny how Joyce was big favourite before their last fights

Dubois has a fine jab and i think that would be effective against Joyce who walks forward with little movement.

I can see Dubois wearing down Joyce and forcing tko in late rounds.

Would love to see this fight though.

Good fight but I can't see Joyce winning this. 34 isn't that old as a heavyweight and it's not like he would be going on a Wlad/Lennox type of reign in any case.

dubois from what we have seen should win. k.o or points, depends on if he goes for the jab n move option.

joyce seems to robotic but he has been facing sub par opposition.

I'm not that convinced by Joyce's chin. He's been sparked in the amateurs when he was not a young man. I just don't think he's had the opposition to test it so far as a pro. I don't think he'll fall over at a stiff gust of wind, but I'm yet to be convinced he can stand up to a serious heavyweight hitter who will be coming to win. He is also so slow and easily hittable, Jennings could have beaten him had he thrown more.

However, his experience, fitness and heavy handedness will wear a lot of opponents down. There are question marks over how someone like Dubois, who is young, has limited experience pro and amateur and has only been past five rounds once, that in a fairly one sided affair, would deal with him. DDD could get him out of there early, if not then it depends how his fitness, durability and in-fight management hold up, but I think it's his fight to lose.

Does not make sense unless either a world title, interim world title, official world title eliminator or European title at the very least is on the line.

    Really interesting fight.

Its the first fight that Dubois will have that he cant win on pressure and power.

The winner is will legitimately be put into title contention.

Bookmaker odds had the fight almost exactly 50-50 before the Dubois and Jennings fights. But yeah, perceptions have changed a lot since then.

Is this for the British and euro belts?

I really hope Joyce gets the win

people moan about how slow he is but he makes up for it in constant pressure for 12 rounds and I love that!

Agreed with this part, as per his name he is relentless and appears to have good ring IQ - really good at stopping his opponent getting into any kind of flow and just chipping wearing them.... his style is not good on the eye but not being good on the eye doesn't mean effective.

However, so far I've still be more impressed with Dubois and generally am more a fan of him - I really actually am not at all a fan of Joyce, so hoping Dubois will win and feel that's the most likely outcome.... even if I expect it to be a grueling fight, as opposed to some other posters.

Joyce has never really wanted this fight. I'll be surprised if actually happens despite Dubois pushing for it.
