Golovkin quits high altitude training?

As much as I don't like Canelo, he's driven Golovkin over the edge. Sad to see he's turned to Conte.

 

Out of curiosity, how many "gifts" do you think he's received?

 

I'd like to see Golovkin retire now. He's been a fantastic " Don't blink " fighter for years but he is now in serious decline. His timing is going as is his hand and foot co-ordination. He's nearly 40 and the altitude training is probably killing him. It would achingly sad to see him trash his career and reputation for another couple of paydays. Believe me, in 10 years we'll be telling people about him and the kids will be sniggering about rose tinted rear view mirrors.

 

Even the playing field.

 

The funny thing is if Golovkin pulled a Marquez and then KTFO Canelo the whinging from certain parties would go on for years about how unfair it all is.

For me though, anyone working with Conte should be considered suspect.

He’s made some strange moves recently. Leaving Sanchez so late in his career, now affiliation with Conte.
Maybe the guy got so disgusted with boxing politics he’s in the “**** it, who cares” mode.

Conte worked with Haney, Mikey, Ward and Andrade too didn't he? Assume we're going to make similar nods to those guys being juiced too...

Conte's past is pretty bad and he's a tainted name, so I'm suspicious of anyone he works with really. But can we try to be consistent please people.

How any fighter can work with Conte and keep a straight face is beyond me.

 

I've seen absolutely nothing on this forum giving Haney, Andrade, J-Rock or Mikey **** for it. I'm not saying it hasn't happened but I definitely haven't seen it. I remember it a little for Ward actually in the shape of people mentioning acne on his back or something

 

Part of me wants to see yoked GGG with bacne and male pattern baldness, pummeling anyone in front of him.
