Munguía's re-debut at middleweight versus Spike headlines a Golden Boy card which kicks off at 6pm EST and has Travell Mazion vs. Fernando Castañeda Valádez and Hector Tanajara vs. Juan Carlos Burgos, a pair of 10-rounders, in primary support.

Hart's sophomoric effort during this post-GRS light heavyweight stint, versus his cement-fisted fellow U.S. east coaster, has prelims set to stream on ESPN+ from 7pm EST with the main card to be televised on ESPN from 10pm EST, with Steven Nelson vs. Cem Kılıç in the co-main.

Toss-up for me, really. Top Rank's card is probably more competitive, at least the vacant WBO NABO super middleweight title fight (Nelson and Kılıç are both unbeaten) is, and the main event is a combustible shootout that could really go either way depending on who lands big first. I'm not exactly stoked to see MiniBurgos return from a 1½ year layoff (after being shut out by Devin Haney and looking shot to bits) getting schooled by Tanajara...nor will anything short of a KO be a satisfying result from Mazion, whom I really like (despite Tureano Johnson struggling recently with Castañeda)... but I am sort of morbidly curious in how much resistance Spike can offer the Mexican weight bully now that he's taking on guys his own size. I have a hunch it could erupt into quite the fun little war.

Seems strange for Munguia to be fighting Daniel Day-Lewis, so I'll go with a quick KO by Munguia.

Hart v Smith. But Munguia v Sullivan should be fun for how ever long it lasts.

@CST80 which do you want to helm the RBR for? I'll take sloppy-seconds, as I don't have a strong feeling either way.

Bad call from a man of your calibre CST. Butt's getting the best of this deal. Spike v munguia will be a good fight. Two aggressive fighters with poor defense? You can't go wrong. Last chance saloon for spike too.

I really enjoy Spike but I wouldn't be shocked if Munguia makes Spike do a 360° if a left hook lands.

Joe Smith is a live dog.

Smith can't box to save his life but he can punch holes in walls and he's tough and durable. Hart's much more skilled, has power in both hands, but his whiskers are shaky. I expect Smith to get his ass paddled pretty badly and it all depends on whether he can land the bomb or not, if he can he'll win via stoppage, if not he'll lose wide on the cards or maybe even get stopped.

Hart is there to be hit, and that is NOT a good thing with Smith, who while isn't all that skilled, Hart is NO Bivol in terms of skillsets himself. Smith is going to knock him unconscious, it's going to be scary, as in ****ing grisly, bring the paramedics in type of knock out. This is the epitome of irresponsible matchmaking by Arum, because they're having that, well he beat Barrera who beat Smith, derp, type reaction. Hart likes to scrap, anyone who likes to scrap get obliterated by The Irish Bomber.

Remember, Smith had his jaw broke in he second round against Barrera, had he not, he'd have KO'd Barrera, after all, he nearly did in the first round. The version Hart fought would have been hospitalized by Smith.

The more rounds banked and shots accumulated both ways, the higher the probability of Smith winning (although he could be kayoed en route himself) - until he doesn't place himself well enough to not blow his wad, or his natural gas tank just hits its bite point (although I'd have to imagine a toll would've already been taken on the more fragile Hart by then).

Joe has a nice high guard defense and marches forward, like Zurdo Ramirez, and excels at fighting taller opponents. Zurdo, who's a featherfisted landed at will.
