Yes, definitely. If Gatti is in it, Pascal who arguably accomplished more undoubtedly should. So should Salido.
Memo is a deeply religious man who has renounced Satan and allowed Jesus into his life. There is no stronger PED than the Light of Christ. And even if Pascal was on the juice there's no juicer in history who has jacked up on more juice than Roid, who FTR was literally a walking PED factory in his prime. The irony of him being jacked up on industrial amounts of juice whilst simultaneously being cursed with that disgusting old lady glass jaw of his which isn't even toddler power proof has been a constant source of amusement to me for many years now lol
Gatti is more famous than Pascal. Forget about the achievement. People are being deceived a lot. It's a Hall of Fame. Not a Hall of best. OR a Hall of greatest.
Pascal hasn't done anything special. He did get embarassed by Hopkins twice, and failed miserably against Kovalev twice. He is an average fighter at best. If that's what it takes to get into the boxing hall of fame, then every top 10 fighter should be in the hall of fame.
What? Having a very close FOTY candidate with Froch, beating a prime Chad Dawson, dominating Lucian Bute and beating two far fresher younger fighters at the age of 37 when everyone thinks you're done. Doesn't count for anything?
Chad Dawson and Lucian Bute were way overrated, like Marcus Browne. Carl Froch also had tough fights with Andre Dirrell (who should have won) and Jermaine Taylor (who was winning up until he gassed). I don't think Pascal beat Jack either, another good fighter. Is Badeu Jack a hall of fame fighter if he retired today?A fighter who could be argued to have actually won the fights he lost or drew? No, but that doesn't mean he's not a good fighter with a good career, just not a hall of fame worthy one. Pascal did what he had to do, exposing bums and losing to the better fighters. That to me is not IHOF material, it's not for fighters who have "fell short". It's for fighters who have significantly accomplished something overall in their careers above and beyond an average top 10 fighter. You cheapen that then basically that means every fighter that have done just above average should be included in the hall of fame. Maybe there should be a "you almost had it" boxing hall of fame category for these fighters.
Pascal is having a bit of an Indian summer right now.. his resume has definitely been bolstered.. turning into a bit of a road warrior.. you gotta give props where it's due.. people (myself included) were saying he was shot years ago.. quality career, Dawson, Bute, Jack, draw with Bhop, Brown, Diaconu, Gonzalez.. only ever lost to the best.. upset the odds a couple of times, been in some classics..
Hmmmm it’s up for debate. I thought after Jack found a rhythm he beat the breaks off him (I admit this point has little relevance with the actual topic)
after round 7 me and 2 of the judges gave Jack one round. and I knew it wasnt enough to win. with the knockdown i was thinking maybe they'd find a magic round for jack and score it a draw.
