Yeah Marciano knocked out everyone he ever fought over 200lb, including the #1 contender who was 217lb.

It was marginal. Had he come in fighting trim rather than bodybuilding he may have been able to have more success. A 210-15 lb Tua might have been faster.

Joe Louis was still world class. Of course Louis was no longer a phenomenal fighter, but at 50% he was still a worthy contender beating rated fighters.

The version of Joe Louis that Rocky beat was better that night than anybody Tucker beat.

Who among the men Tucker beat would you favour over 1951 Joe Louis?

Don Cokkell rated #2 was also world class.

Compared to Tuckers level of competition Johnny Shkor was decent.

David Tua was a pretty good answer. No need to rationalize it away. Acceptance is the key.

Come on then, I challenge you to list the men (or even one man) Tucker beat who would have beaten 1951 Joe Louis the night he fought them.

I would say maybe Buster Douglas based on ability but his will to win just wasn't there. His fight against Tucker was possibly the worst quit job I have seen.

1951 Louis? That one-handed mummy who had zero business and zero desire in fighting but had the IRS against his back?

    Norris, McCall, Douglas... Broad@ss 50-50...
