Too bad for him Pac isn't in the final 3. So his point is irrelevant, he won't be the fighter of the decade. It will be either Canelo, PBF or Ward.

Manny is Bob's fighter, right? For all we know Arum is basing his assessment on which fighter he made the most money on durring.that decade.

I would put too much stock in it either way.

To Arum, fighters are investments he can get a return on.

Political. Woke culture. The "gays are worse than animals" line killed him.

    Ward over Canelo and Mayweather.

    Stop!
If you lose to a C level guy like Horn and don't avenge your loss you're not fighter of the decade
If you're on the receiving end of the KO of the decade you're not fighter of the decade
If you lose the fight of the decade/era easily then you're not fighter of the decade

All 3 Ward Canelo and PBF have much better cases than Pac does hell Loma has a batter case then him.

12-4 (1) overall but only Juan Manuel Marquez (in their 4th and final fight) really beat him up. He went 2-1-1 vs. Marquez and dropped him 5 times but Pacquiao finally went down in their 4th... and was unable to continue. Fresh off of his win over Cotto, Pacquiao beat Clottey (who had defeated Judah and gotten robbed vs. Cotto), Margarito, Mosley, Marquez (their 3rd fight), he lost a SD vs. Bradley in a total robbery (their first fight), then came the loss to Marquez, he beat Rios, Bradley, Algieri, then came the loss to Mayweather (Pacquiao was injured and Mayweather was caught flushing his system with IV fluids), he beat Bradley again (3rd fight), Vargas, was robbed vs. Horn, beat Matthysse, Broner, and Thurman (at age 40). Good choice but there are a few other guys that might get it.

You don't win Fighter of the Decade when your three biggest wins have asterisks next to them:
    • Going life and death with Marcos Maidana, a guy schooled by Devon Alexander, and paying him 1.5 million dollars to wear pillow gloves
    • Draining a guy who had trouble making 154 and had to create a 155 weight class and who just fought at 175
    • Rejecting the best drug testing, drug test penalties, and then getting caught cycling with illegal IV fluids
Not to mention Floyd had ultra low T/E ratios so he was juiced the entire time.

TS makes a lot of good points. Clottey and Margarito are extremely underrated wins by Pacquiao. I didn’t think it was that boring neither, maybe for a Pacquiao fight. Also Clottey was stunned early in the fight by a right hook somewhere around 3-4 (If I remember correctly), that showed him Pacquiao can hurt him.

Going life and death? PBF is 2-0 against Maidana come again

Drained? It was Canelo who wanted to fight PBF. He wasn't drained he was outboxed yet another excuse by a PBF which is a common theme with people like you.

PBF never failed a drug test and was cleared PBF UD #48 118-110 stands! Fact!

Pac ducked a prime PBF because of testing Fact! When they fought PBF beat him easily, Maidana gave him a harder fight Fact!

Pac was KTFO against a guy he never beat clearly in the KO of the decade a guy PBF fought as a tune up and shut out Fact!

Ward Canelo and PBF all have much better cases for fighter of the decade Fact! Which is why they're finalist and Pac isn't deal with it:deal:

Floyd, Pac, Canelo, Ward - any of them has a case.

Floyd has Canelo and Pac on his resume in that decade, the other 2 contenders for FOTD so that says a lot. Pac has a very solid resume with top wins over Bradley, jmm and Thurman, good wins against clottey, Margo (I rate margo win higher due to the fact that Pac is a LW going up against a JMW) and decent wins over Rios, Algieri, broner and Matthysse.

He only legitimately lost twice and both guys was on PEDs. Sure people can claim Pac was but there’s no hard evidence on him, he wasn’t caught trying to hide the fact that he hired a ped expert and then comes in with all sorts of acne looking like a mini Mexican Anthony Joshua. Nor was he caught with all that illegal IV fluid whilst being issued a TUE 21 days after the fight.
