    So did John Ruiz that's one of the few good things I can say about him.

    I suspect that a lot could do it.

    I doubt that he was unlucky enough to share an era with the only two that had the tools!

    He did. He was a cheater too - held excessive in almost every fight against decent fighters, and faked "low blows" in others. Probably the least talented HW beltholder of all time.

    Only his connections to King got this glorified clubfighter shot after undeserved shot at the WBA title. He was the poster-boy for boxing corruption in the 90s and early 2000s.
