    The scores were.
    • Unofficial AP scorecard: 117-111 Lewis
    Pretty convincing.

Who puts judges score cards above their own judgement:thinking:

Yeah , Lewis was the clear winner , but score cards don't tell ya he struggled with a puffed up 175 pounder.

This is a silly statement,Mavrovic scaled 214.25lbs and was 6'3".Lewis did not struggle he won very easily, your dislike of him makes you irrational on the subject.

Post something about Lewis vs Vitali and you will see Dino spinning on Lewis' knob very quickly. This guy has issues.

Haven't been on here for a while! When did everything change? But yeah, Marciano only beats Vitali, Wlad, and Bowe. He could possibly beat Lewis though I wouldn't put my money on him. Loses to Foreman and Liston.

I think he loses to em all in honesty. Ironically big bad Liston is probably the closest to rock in size. There's some big guys in there and big hitters, marciano would really have to pull something out of the bag to defeat one.

15 rounds he might make 2-4, doubt it though

I am calling on our three Forum experts to give their detailed opinion how this fight would unfold....again I am asking for a fight strategy aka blue print how Marciano would "win" this fight.

Disclaimer: "broke blood vessels" ungodly power" "non stop punching""49-0 " ......please exclude those cliches and give me the goods...patiently waiting.

well, when you put the abbreviation, "ATG" with a fighter, no fighter who doesn't have the board's "ATG" distinction can compete. Board rule. 49-0 and ATG are like a force shield. Also, according to the "experts" on this board, RM was fast, had good footwork, had the best stamina, and never forget, "he fought with his head off the center line (whatever that means) and leaned back so that he could parry punches." I guess that's another nuance that I missed? Apparently one has to be a boxing "historian" to "truly" understand the subtle things that RM was doing?

To my "non-historian" eye, he looked slow, had terrible footwork, fought at a snail's pace, and was off balance most of the time. Guess I just haven't read enough Bert Sugar books or listened to Larry Merchant enough to truly appreciate an "ATG?"
