Canelo vs bjs to be announced next week is doing the rounds on various youtube channels. If it is announced I can't wait to see that moody ***** Gallagher's IFL interview

Either way it seems Canelo will go in with Saunders or Smith. I would be happy with either. I imagine they might wait another year for Callum as he will get even tighter at the weight.

Just seen an interview with Dom Ingle , looks like Billy is going back with Davidson . Dom was basically saying billy needs more one on one time near impossible with him having Brook Williams and Ghalahad all in the mix with big fights!

I think Saunders has missed the window where he could of possibly beat Canelo he has wasted two and half years after the Lemieux fight , I see him being stopped late !

Agree 100%. Would be a cash out fight now.

Canelo smashes Saunders and Smith on the same night.

He really should do both fights on the same night, one after the other, I'm not joking, I don't see them as remotely competitive.

I have to admit I used to think BJS would beat Canelo due to style, I don't anymore.

Has it really been 2.5 years since the Lemmy fight? Complete and total waste.

I honestly think he could do it. Take Saunders first. 7/8 rounds work and even if he does land a punch it’s not going to hurt then Smith on his last performance wouldn’t last that long either.

Canelo stops both at this stage

if anything I give bjs a good chance of running for 12 and not getting stopped but losing every round

Firstly canelo will be fighting somebody who is not so drained at the weight that they can't even throw a combination. Trust me canelo Vs Saunders will be a classic, canelo never starts that fast can see Saunders winning the first few rounds quite easily but then after 6 it will all be canelo all depends if Saunders can stay away from canelo in the later parts, don't let the recent Saunders performances cloud your judgement he will be at his very best in this fight because he knows nothing else will do or he gets flattened , bring it on great fight it will go to points await the dodgy decision!!!

This would be the ultimate cash out for BJS. Who lost love with the game and the discipline a while ago now.

Not sure what shape he turns up in, but its difficult to get back that focus when you lose it. I would back Canelo to get a late TKO/KO win here. I dont think he turns up in the right shape or with the right mindset

I don’t understand the cash out talk. We’ve been crying out for Saunders to fight someone like Canelo for years. I genuinely believe he has pursued the likes of Canelo and GGG for the last few years and they wouldn’t entertain him for various reasons. Now that he could finally land the fight he’s desperately needed, it’s being considered a cash out?

What’s his alternative, fight more puddings or actually justify his standing as a two weight world champion? I personally believe that whilst the lad is a clown, part of this is due to a lack of challenges/fights that really wet the palate because Warren couldn’t deliver it.

He will shine if he faced Canelo. I don’t think he has the pop to stop Canelo coming forward but I reckon he wins a few rounds and goes the distance. He could actually increase his stock with a defeat.

I think canelo will get the decision on points. I think Billy will build a lead win 5 of the first six but probably lose 5 of the last 6. A draw you might think. Canelo gets given a unanimous decision 8-4 or 9-3 on the judge's scorecards and canelo moves on.

Probably the most likely outcome, now I'm not for one minute comparing Saunders to Mayweather but canelo has struggled with highly skilled technical figthers and Saunders at his best is probably the worst style for canelo to face . I can see BJ's building up a healthy lead on the viewers score cards unfortunately probably not the judges!!!

If anybody can take rounds of canelo it will be BJ's, apart from the last few rounds against eubank I can't think of when BJ's has been in a dog fight be interesting to see how he reacts to taking a heavy handed fighter like canelo

Saunders will be on his bike for 12 rounds. Canelo wins very clearly on the cards.

I’m glad the fight is finally happening- it’s time for BJS to get his money and exit the sport.
