I don't agree with you neccesarily . but good posts. One part that you said interests me was that canelo has a lower punch output now that hes moved up in weight. Im gonna look into that for sure . thanks for pointing that out.

Think billy needs the dedicated one to one training ingle cant really provide him with. Which is understandable.

Billys a hard man to tag....but canelo doesnt need many to start slowing you down. Thats when it,ll get hard for billy...when canelo does enough damage to slow him down. Hes gonna pay for his lack of dedication. Canelos a beast in there...intellegent with it as well.

Canelo has elite level feints and upper body movement that make you think he is going upstairs but then rips to the body and vice versa. He is very hard to read in that sense so it will be very interesting to see how Saunders lives with that.

This is a completely different beast for Billy Joe and he lacks elite level experience where Canelo has it in abundance and has faced every style out there. Canelo 'gimmie' fights over the last few years would rank as some of Saunders best wins.

Pretty much sums it up. Cant see billy joe staying out the way for twelve....thats the problem if or when canelo does start landing. How does billys skills hold up when that happens. Billy will still be hard to hit as per usual....but canelos got good timing. Can cut the ring off pretty well and decent to the body and every landed shots pretty much a good one add to that billy doesnt really have a dig to worry about for canelo.

Interesting match up but dont think billy with have the athletism to stand up to canelo at that weight...you really need to be solid cause hes hitting hard nowadays. Was it fielding and smith he fought....he pretty much looked like a different athlete to the pair of them when the shots started landing.

Yeah he demolished Smith and obvioulsy fielding. Canelo is in his prime right now too. I look at Saunders and think what a waste of talent. Can't help but think this is a cash out for him.

It's so easy to say Saunders gets a hiding and will look average of course it's ****ing canelo probably the best fighter in the world at the moment, but realistically can I see say sees giving him a hard fight, definitely!! Saunders is like fury fights at his best when fighting the best looks bang average against everybody else . Saunders will win rounds from canelo 100 percent , the Saunders that fought lemieux and Andy Lee gives canelo problems do t care what anybody says. Canelo is great at what he does but doesn't throw many punches all long as Saunders can keep the hit and move style for 12 rounds you never know .

Who on a level playing field without rehydration clauses has canelo beat, he lost the first golovkin fight remember at the same weight who is his best win? The golovkin rematch who let's be honest is a shadow of his former self.

Sorry but you can't even remotely compare the skills sets of Liam Smith and fielding to Saunders completely different league I'm afraid, canelo looked great against them if course he did a come forward fighter in Smith with the high Gallagher guard it's Taylor made for canelo and fielding is euro level at best, Saunders skill set is far far superior to both.

Saunders gives it the big one about being a fighting man and knows he says that he can beat canelo well it's time to see if it's all been talk or he has the minerals personally I think he does!!! Saunders has a great chin as well will be a great fight imo alot closer than most think

Wasn,t a comparison of their skillset. Was a comparison of athletism and mainly punching power. Canelo looked like a completely different athlete...as soon as he started landing they began to break down.

Billy will be tricky for canelo. But canelo will land snd when he does billy will start to slow down....thats when his problems will start. I rate billy joe highly btw.

Point taken Saunders does slow down in the later rounds but ithink this has been mainly due to fitness, I know I am very much a little blinded by the fact that I like Saunders style and think he is a major talent undoubtedly canelo is going to take him into deep waters I just truly believe given fair judging he could win 7 of the 12 rounds!! Let's hope it happens I really think it could be quite a fight .

Canelo beats him comfortably I think but I hope I’m wrong.

BJS has wasted his talent, which is an odd thing to say about a two weight world champion but then Ricky Burns was a three weight world champ (not a slight at Burns, there’s not a fighter who deserves it more for how hard he works). Even if BJS was fully committed to the sport I think Canelo would have too much, he’s a freak, even with the blatant PED popping.

The more I dwell on this, the closer the outcome of the fight gets. Saunders really is a very skilful fighter, this goes very close on points.

He's a freak thanks to the blatant PED popping you mention, a number of fights where he weight bullied beyond belief thanks to Clenbuterol use. I find that hard to admire, that said, he has proved himself to be a very good boxer, nobody has a comfortable night against BJS though, he's just too awkward an opponent to allow that.
