you're flailing now, you've been exposed by what you wrote and you can't put the cat back in the bag. Gazelle wrote, " Obviously his balance was better (when thinking of HW champion skills I don’t think balance has ever come to mind maybe the least important attribute)" And you claim to have trained? If you have I'm guessing your Boxercise Class instructor doesn't concern herself/himself with teaching stance, footwork, movement, etc.? "exasperated by his detractors." Could you explain that one too?
Marciano missed by feet in some fights . "Trying to knock the challenger out with one punch, the 29-year-old Marciano was over-eager and awkward. He lunged, butted, hit below the belt, on the break and after the bell. Once, he swung so wildly that he missed and slipped clumsily to the canvas. Outboxing the champion and avoiding his blows, LaStarza managed to win four of the first six rounds. He fell over against Beshore too.
You find me one trainer who has ever touched a pro that would agree with you. The absurdity of your statement is truly preposterous.
Comparing Marciano and Tyson's chins Do you think Marciano remains upright after being tagged flush by this guy? Yes or No? This content is protected Marciano was floored in 2 fights in which he was fresh, by a 38 year old and a 38/40 year old Tyson was only floored after sustaining a gradual beat down.
I’d pick Ali to beat him too. But crucify ? Maybe and maybe not. Ali struggled with fighters who fought similarly to Marciano. I could see Muhammad winning a decision or maybe late stoppage on cuts. But I don’t necessarily think it HAS to be an easy fight.
Which fighters similar to Marciano did Ali struggle with? Are you referring to the Ali who had just comeback after nearly 4 years out of the game?
The answer is you don’t know and neither do I. He never even looked dazed let alone knocked out. Two flash knock downs for a total of about six seconds. No wobbly legs at all. How on earth are you going to make an assumption that he would be knocked out? I agree he never faced a monster puncher. But he faced some damn good ones and came out fine.
Marciano himself said he was dazed against Moore. He got up and walked towards the ropes expecting a standing count,he said so himself! He faced very, very few big punchers and we both know it,the difference being I am able to admit it! Since you ducked my previous question ,here is another for you to duck. Did Ruddock hit harder than Moore and Walcott? Yes or No?
Idk Ruddoclknocked out NO ONE of note. Much like your favorite fighter Cleveland Williams. Unlike you I don’t make assumptions as there is no one alive who fought both. I would say Walcott and Louis probably hit just as good. At least they knocked out people of importance. And FYI anyone can watch that fight and clearly see he wasn’t hurt at all and if you say he did look hurt I seriously question your boxing knowledge. Because anyone who’s watched boxing even just a few fights could tell u how a real hurt person looks.
Marciano's chin is nowhere near as proven as Tyson's and in fact was rather exposed on several occasions.
Did Holyfield hit harder then Walcott and Moore? I doubt a 30 year old Marciano gets flattened by Holyfield.
