Marciano Liston Tyson Dempsey If you flip Marciano and Liston it would be the same to me both have pretty equal accomplishments to me.

I like your list..not sure about Tyson beating Liston, though. I strangely never thought about that matchup before now.
Let me clarify my h2h section is where i rate the 4 of them on an overall h2h list of most dangerous heavyweights in hypothetical matchups. It doesnt necessarily mean the person closest to the top of the list always beats the person(s) below. I just think Tyson is more of a threat overall against the average heavyweight than Liston. As far as Liston vs Tyson that is a very very tough one to think about. Either way there'd be fireworks and both men would be badly hurt.
I agree, though I would imagine Mike would get hurt one heck of a lot more by Liston than someone like, say, Ruddock. Liston might have been a threat the order of a Frazier (without as much heart but with perhaps a better chin and right hand). But prime Mike might have avoided his best shots... that's a tough call for me.
Marciano (because he went undefeated in his own era) Tyson (because he was the youngest heavyweight champion and fought some pretty good fighters) Dempsey and Liston are tied for me. Dempsey was champion for a longer time but Liston had better opposition but wasn't champion but for a flicker. Although, I'd favor Dempsey over all of Liston's wins while I'd also favor Liston over all of Dempsey's wins, however Tunney could be a problem for Liston.
I can't really say that Liston was a harder puncher than Ruddock. Now, Liston was an overall better fighter, but anyone Liston plastered, I think Ruddock could do likewise if he lands flush.
