Donovan Razor Ruddock one of the hardest punching heavies ever! Also, I didn't know he beat Lennox Lewis in the ams.

Braxton said the same about Saad. Unfortunately for Saad, he couldn't hit Braxton enough to make it count.

And people still question Tyson's chin and heart.

    Beast of a puncher!

I'd have loved to have seen Ruddock face Holyfield & Mercer.

Those would have been fun fights. Donovan certainly hit hard no doubt. He could take a pretty good shot too. I was shocked when Lewis dispatched him as quickly as he did.

No, it was around 2 years after he fought Tyson.

1 year and 4 months and Razor had won both fights in the interim.

I think these fights have aged well for Tyson, they do his legacy some good, a lot of myths were dispelled regarding Tyson being able to win a fight against a determined opponent that was fearless and able to hurt him.

Couple of months off his 29th birthday. It was 16 months after the second Tyson fight.

Lennox's best display imo. Never mind hitting like a mule kick. Nobody could hit the deck like Razor. He always went down like someone had pushed his legs to the side all of a sudden. He debuted the move vs Bonecrusher, did it v Tyson (when I think Mike actually had kicked his legs from uunder him), but had it to a tee by the end of the first v Lewis. Have a look if you don't know what I'm on about.

These fights destroy the myth that Tyson couldn't handle adversity.

Tyson's chin was made of steel. Right below Mercer for me.

I would too. I heard that Holyfield avoided Ruddock.

Yeah, he fought Foreman, Bowe, Tyson and Lewis but would not dare enter the ring with Ruddock.....

I'm not claiming he did, I'm just stating what I heard. Although, I personally wouldn't say that Holyfield was afraid to fight Ruddock even if Ruddock wasn't his favorite choice of opponent at the time.
