Just all of rockys opponents at the top that he faced were mostly jabbers.... I feel that's the weapon they used most against him . and thats all they could use. Holmes being a jabber i feel that would fit into marcianos experience with them . find a way past the jab. Not saying rocky can beay larry .. Just saying the style fits
Well, 1980 Holmes was superior to the Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott that Marciano faced...somehow I doubt many here would vehemently disagree with that.
And the Louis who fought Marciano damn sure wasn't the one who knocked out Schmeling. And wasn't anywhere near a prime Larry Holmes.
He didn't know how to get past 37years old Louis' jab,he said he just had to take it and ,if you look at his face the next morning he did.
