Peter Fury on Martin Bakole

I’ve been impressed by him in his last couple of fights. Think he’s a bit of a beast and will go on to do well.

 

Seen that interview earlier today. Praised Bakole, and Joshua's performance against Ruiz. Didn't mention a thing about Tyson however, when he was asked who was the best in the division.

 

Everybody says he is great in sparing but can he produce it in the ring? Time will tell. Peter also said he's good mates with Billy and he is spouting his usual 'We have made huge improvements and you will see big changes' routine about Hughie. Why on earth he thinks Povetkin should give them a rematch is beyond me.

 

yes I’m getting a bit tired with Peters constant spouting of rubbish about Hughie , he comes across a tad deluded these days , hughie is a gatekeeper who unfortunately is just good enough to be a world champion.

 

I like Bakole and I like Billy Nelson so I really hope they get some big fights and Bakole ends up lifting a world title.

Have a feeling Bakole will have to get in to a mandatory position to get a title shot though, I don't see him just getting given an opportunity, he will have to earn it and it might actually be beneficial to him to do so.

By the sounds of it Bakole keeps offering himself up to fighters and keeps being ignored or avoided.

Why doesn't the likes of Joe Joyce and Dubois fight Bakole? They constantly say nobody wants to fight them but Bakole would in a heartbeat.

 

It's all about business, Bakole is high risk low reward. He should target the European or start working his way up the rankings so he at least has a ranking position to steal.

 

I like the way Bakole punches. It’s a throwback to the 70s.

 

I quite like Bakole, I think he's a very useful fighter. He needs to fight someone not trash again next though.

Hearn Stating Bakole is a beast and that he doesnt think Hrgovic wants to fight a "beast" yet. This is despite Hrgovic post Molina fight stating he wants the likes Povetkin, Whyte and Hunter next.
