    Why not Michael Hunter?

Michael Hunter looked the winner to me when he fought Povetkin so why not take the man who came out of that looking like a winner?

Povetkin just isn't interesting any longer and it way past any best.

Hunter Vs Whyte would be interesting, I would like to see it.

Prefer the Hunter fight as I thought he won, plus at 40 that 12 round fight would have taken more out of Povetkin. Still a decent fight but Hunter is the better option, so no surprise we'll get Pov...

Wow... the amount of people who had Hunter winning... jesus.

The bias on this forum is disgusting... any other fighter has a close fight you won't bat an eyelid... but HUNTER in a close fight... Hunter wins by default...

Good fight wish it happened a few years sooner though (2018/2017).

2 Juicers fighting for the PED ROIDER Heavyweight Title, the winners mandatory is Big Fat Baby Miller for the Super Duper Roider Heavyweight Championship!!

if Whyte comes in a Fat Porker like he did against Wach he gets put to sleep by Sasha! If the fight was held in Mother Russia it would be another Highlite Reel KTFO for Povetkin guaranteed but they rarely allow their babied UK Heavyweights fight outside of their protected Safe Spaces of Limey Island!!

Whyte is mandatory challenger to face Wilder, Whyte wishes to face Wider, Wilder has the belt so assume not classed as faded, but yes he is older than Whyte, so yep Whyte only wants to fight old boxers.

Assuming Whyte is happy to risk his mandatory status (if it isn't for a WBC strap then it may not make a difference to his status with the WBC) then it should be pretty easy to make happen really

Smith and Ryder? Forum went mental over that. Even the K.Taylor fight. I think I had both Ryder and Hunter winning their fights by 2 points.

I really like the Povetkin vs Whyte fight and I can see it being more entertaining than Fury vs Wilder and AJ vs Pulev.

Whoever doesn't get the Usyk fight out of Chisora and Parker they should put them against Hunter.

I don't think you can call it bias in a close enough fight but the majority maybe thought Hunter won it.

I thought Hunter won it, not by much, he wasn't a run away winner but a couple of rounds.

Povetkin isn't a good fight now, I like Whyte and I hope he eventually gets a world title shot so I don't think he should be taking huge risks right now.

He has earned his shot in my opinion and it feels like some are just waiting for him to get beat so they can forget all of the solid wins he has picked up and shove him at the back of the line again.

I understand that frustration and the dilemma Whyte is in but beating Povetkin won't do much for Whyte and it isn't a PPV event and his last PPV event wasn't very successful.

If Whyte wants big money and a PPV event then it has to be better than Povetkin.

Fair play, but thats what makes Whyte so great, that he doesnt mind fighting the top guys he doesnt duck or run, even if he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. He is a true warior.

So how much faith do you have in Whyte to beat Pov? Because I fully back Whyte to win... Whyte in shape is just a handful and he can absorb a handful of punishment too.... guy is just a beast

Not sure if you posted it before and I haven't seen but if that makes him great, then why didn't he take the AJ fight or the Ortiz fight? Genuine question.

I can see 2 possible outcomes, Whyte KO or Povetkin UD/SD. Povetkin has been hurt/caught flush in 3 out of his last 4 fights (Hunter, Joshua, Pricey) so can imagine a mid-to-late rounds KO for Whyte. I do think Povetkin will land and possibly even hurt Whyte this fight though.
