More impressive? Ali beating Foreman or Mayweather beating Pacquiao?

There's so much debate around who really delayed the fight that I dont know who to blame anymore I'm a huge manny fan but the cut off date for bloodwork was weird and floyd is...well, floyd, he is very calculated about the terms of fights and their timing is always in his favour. We got the fight, I thought it was lackluster. But yeah, the win did not have the same impact it would have in 2010. We've all heard the same arguments as to why. So you're right, that probably would have been his defining moment IF he had won, and that's a big if.

 

Well look, Pac was a better fighter than Foreman, but Clay did beat him when he was on top of his game.
I'll have to go with Clay vs Foreman on this one

 

Manny was older and already knocked cold by Marquez. Ali over Foreman is much much much much greater..

That would have made it very dramatic if Pac KTFO Floyd like many fans wished/hoped, that is the dramatic equivalent to what actually happened in Zaire

 

Pac wasnt given a chance of winning. The IV debacle proved almost certainly that Floyd was on Peds Then Pac was denied his promised Toradol, a permitted legal pain killer but Floyd was permitted his Xylocaine pain killing injections. These I believe are illegal in most other states but Nevada changed their rules obviously to suit Floyd their cash cow

I mean really, what is so impressive about one shot, clinch, one shot clinch...…...rinse, repeat process????

Ali was seen as a god by many when he beat foreman, it was one of the most spectacular, unexpected displays in boxing history and will be remembered in 200 years time. Mayweather was seen as a cherry picker who took his fight with pac 5 years too late and boxed his way to a safe victory. So....

 

Both were older when they fought. . Pacman was diminished as an opponent after the Marquez fight. Ali beat a young prime Foreman. That was a real accomplishment.

Mayweather vs Manny would be like Ali fighting skinny ass bob Foster and there's really no comparison because Floyd an overrated bum who should've annihilated Manny so Ali vs foreman gets the nod and it's not close
