In Furys defence he has said numerous times it's all just a persona. Many boxers have adopted a persona for their boxing side of life. Its nothing new.
I said when Fury changed his trainer that he knows he can't just do the same as the first fight. Wilder will know what to expect and be ready for him. Fury will simply have to be more aggressive and push Wilder on to his back foot. Have a look back at the 2nd Chisora fight where Fury gets Del Boy on his back foot standing still and dismantles him with uppercuts. I'm certain he will try something similar in this one. This means of course that he will spend more time in range. This has the makings of an exciting fight.
I thought wilder seemed more relaxed through this ramblings. Fury seemed more agitated but that might have been because he couldn’t take control of the conference like he usually tries to do. It was a boring stilted presser in my opinion. Fury did seem a bit agitated around the trainer subject though, felt the need to defend himself. If I had to choose I’d say fury seemed a bit more rattled, whatever that means.
The first fight was exciting I cannot wait for this one, Wilder ain't no Chisora I think he putting Tyson to sleep this time.
That's what makes it exciting. Fury will have to take a few more risks if he's going to win. As he said last night, he knows he can't get a decision over there.
With the standard of judging in World Title fights these days, I'm not sure. What goes for Matchroom here in the UK goes for Al Haymon and the WBC in the States, Golden Boy too.
Yeah that's a fair comment, I just can't see Fury knocking him out...he can hurt him for sure. If he can get a decision win in Germany against Klitschko he can do the same over there. Saying that would be great if Fury did put Wilder to sleep...the arguing between @Hattonmad & @TonyHayers would be off the chart lol.
Why do you always manipulate facts to suit your agenda? You left out Fury's stoppage of Hammer, when he weighed 262 pounds. Who else have you left out? Fury bangs harder above 260. That's a fact. Nobody said he's a knockout artist at the weight, but he can put a serious dent in Wilder at the higher weight.
People believe anything Fury says? He will throw 9 nothing punches a round, be awkward and hopefully get knocked out.
Where do you people come from? Fury threw 330 punches in the first fight. To put that into context, AJ threw 350 punches against Klitschko.
I been hearing complaints that this fight will be as bad as the first one. I thought the first fight between these two was without a doubt the best fight they had in their careers. So I don't get that complaint, Fury looked more offensive than I'd ever seen him, I even felt at the time with more attacks he could have stopped Wilder, he staggered him a few times. It wouldn't surprise me if Fury was more aggressive for this but the 2 round talk is mind games. The only thing that worries me is Fury not mentally being right, he seemed a bit off in this presser, hopefully its nothing.
