I did watch the fight live. Fury struggled for some moments but that fight is exaggerated, just like the claim wilder lost every round except the knockdowns. Both claims are bogus.

Fury only landed 6 more jabs and 7 more power punches than wilder, which is surprising considering how many times people repeat this idea fury put on a clinic and completely dominated very second of the fight. Even the total number is only a 13 punch difference, does that sound like a 1 sided domination to you?

Even if you think it is, Wallin's numbers are far worse where he lands 52 less punches to Wilder's 13.

Fury was in control of the Wallin fight and made him fight at his pace. In the early rounds Wallin did good and backed fury up, landing some good shots. But by the mid rounds he slowed down and by the end he wouldn't open up and Fury was in complete control.

 

This is not news and is exactly the reason Deontay has been cherry picking ever since.
