He might NOT disagree my friend. He left himself open for shots thinking he CAN take them. Besides, Joppy was only B rated ...

Nelo would likeley counter TITO to hell.
Much like Oscar but I would think canelo would continue to step on the gas & stop him late.

tito seemed to struggle nightly with boxers.
De la Hoya , Roy Jones, Hopkins come to mind.

Trinidad has an ATG status at Welter officially undefeated, Oscar De La Hoya was also an excellent Welter,

Tito vs DLH was a very close fight, Tito got the nod because Vegas loves aggression. We have to accept official records otherwise Canelo & many other boxers will have "losses" going back into their record.

Both DLH & Tito beat Canelo at 147 or any weight class. Tito & DLH didn't get to enjoy the modern PEDs juicing DLH & Tito will take away Canelo advantage & Canelo will be back to square 1, a redheaded 5'7" Mexican trying to beat 5'10.5" DLH or 5'11" Tito good luck with that!

To beat Tito you have be physically taller, rangier, stronger Elite boxer
    • 6'00" Bernard Hopkins
    • 5'11" Roy Jones Jr
    • 5'11" Winky Wright
Smaller Olympic Gold Medalists couldn't beat Tito, let alone ordinary 5'07" Canelo
    • 5'10" Oscar De La Hoya
    • 5'09" David Reid
    • 5'06" Pernell Whitaker

Canelo is a bulked up 5'07" Irish Micky Ward with a short wingspan...
No matter how hard you try, that will not fly...

In 2020 any fighter can PED to any weight class he wants, without losing stamina/endurance. Had Tito/DLH fought today they will easily keep their speed/workrate at 175, they will still look good vs Fernando Varags or old demoralized big boxers who no longer want to win.

If DLH wanted to be a promoter, he can easily setup Canelo & GGG to get KTFO by a new young natural 175lbs KO Artist & work his way into better things, but De La Hoya is not a promoter, he is a manager & he wants to simp on Ginger forever

i can see the logic sure

But if we being honest Trinidad got schooled by de la Hoya .
Oscar Won 7 rounds by wipe out
It was his corner that lost him that fight even then the corner gave him sound advice...

if Oscar ignores corner he KOs TITO that night (but corner didn’t want to give Tito his only shot at winning by counter KO so he thought)

i still think ginger takes it I don’t see Tito KOing him nah mean?

De La Hoya is an Elite level Welterweight, Olympic Gold medalist & the fight was close.

Tito & De La Hoya looked eye to eye, DLH gave him his hardest fight & Tito gave him the official L, something like Mayweather-Castillo situation or GGG-Canelo

Tito-DLH both are an ATG class above Ginger, DLH is a kind manager, possibly a good friend to Canelo...that is very cool, but 5'07" Canelo will never be able to beat any top 10 ATG Welterweight.

You want to imagine ATGs moving up, juice them up with 2020 PEDs & the time machine gets soaked up with Ginger Ale

Canelo would take Tito's power and outbox him to a wide UD or late stoppage win.

Tito didn't get juice, but definitely had those extra cast in gloves, after he was caught in the Hopkins fight all of the sudden hes power disappeared, Tito without his extra cast was garbage, went to lose every round against top elites.

    Hmm...Hand wraps vs special meat.
Seriously, I think Tito's will walk him down and win a SD. Remember Don King was Tito's promoter and he has more juice that DLH.

Canelo would beat him at 154 and 160. Tito would look robotic.

Bernard Hopkins is a big middleweight, bigger than De La Hoya with an Iron Chin, Red-head is a 5'07" bulked up midget, he will have no way to escape Trinidad two handed autistic beat down.

All Trinidad losses were to big framed boxers who were able to stay outside of the range of Trinidad reach.
